Videogames are dead. Why haven't you picked up on shooting? It's a hobby that is legitimately fun with real world applications. You can buy a shotgun or a .22lr rifle for just about $200 and have a boat load of fun with it.
That's better than paying $200 for a dumb console that has only one decent exclusive in a sea of downgraded AAA mediocrity.
Playing FEAR or Half Life 2 and shooting the shotguns in it does not measure up to shooting a 12GA shotgun irl.

Gaming is a dirt cheap hobby even for enthusiasts. A good rifle costs 1k minimum plus the cost of ammo an maintaining it,getting the necessary paperwork,etc. 1k can buy a shit ton vidya. 1k for shooting isn't a lot.
