Eh, the crossbow was satisfying to land hits with. Rest of the guns were weak at best.

The combat shotgun was actually better outside of vats because each of the 9 pieces of shot from a shell had their own individual crit modifier. So if you got a sneak attack crit, every single piece of shot would get the crit bonus.

If you take Shotgun Surgeon and And Stay Back! this thing shreds through anything. Not to mention all the different ammo types that work with this gun. (coinshot, bean bag, magnum, slug, dragon's breath, flechette)
