I actually just rented this game a few days ago. It's pretty ok. Seems like a far cry clone mostly. The enemies are cool but once the coolness wears off the combat is not great

7/10 so far. Graphics are good but there is way way way too much story, the tutorial is like 2 hours

It actually depends on the frame of the image, Aloy is cute. Also her character was conceived for being a warrior, not the usual weebshit with no aesthetic sense of strenght.

I know right, there went lots of effort into that image. One flaw is the empty tv screen tho, which can be used to mock sony for having no games. All in all it's a 7/10 meme with a critical flaw. Bonus points would be if it had Bloodborne on the screen.

Aloy-- she didn't work for me. It wasn't anything about "feminism" or anything. Her character wasn't given anything to work with. She's basically whatever the plot wants her to be. She's so into finding her past. She seems a bit narrow minded given how clear it is throughout the game her entire continent is in danger. She doesn't seem to appreciate the gravity of the situation.

I'd rather talk about the game itself. There is hardly any threads around and the single time a thread does pop up its bombarded with how the game is all SJW.

I think everything about the game is inoffensive to a t making it the most bland experience ever. It's a shame because the game is so beautiful but the setting and characters are so fucking boring.

That comparison with BotW that showed how little interaction with the environment this game has kinda turned me off. I hate it how modern games make all these detailed environments that end up being static.
