I would be legit surprised if there's no hard mode. Every Metroid game since 2002 has had one.

The biggest worry I had was that the map design would be shit since it's made by an external developer but after hearing that most of the creative work is being done by veterans at Nintendo, I'm much more optimistic. As long as my 3DS still remains in a playable state, I'll be getting this game (the circlepad finally came loose last month, I don't think it has much longer left).

I highly doubt it'll be bad, didn't look like it.

Nigga, the creator of AM2R is totally fine with Samus Returns and is excited for it. The whole reason he made AM2R in the first place was because he imagined what a Metroid II remake by Nintendo would be like, and now he finally got it.
