Shit, I can say I own a Nintendo Switch now
It literally says what it is in the fucking label you dumbass.
What do you mean getting, I am old. This was my first.
I can not overstate how much I hated this controller.
Oh... oh it hurts... im coming jesus.
I can still smell the incredibly strong metallic/electric scents these gave off when they were new.
You weren't playing an Atari unless you had the smell of fresh battery acid somewhere in the back of your nostrils
Shag carpets, 30" montgomery ward CRT with wood finish, and some Asteroids. God damn it feels good to be old.
I had to use the one from my N64 even after I got a GameCube. Only a few years after did I get a TV that supported the composite cables.
First games were borrowed from my local library and played with my dad.
Who doesn't even like videogames so thanks to him for sitting through them with me. Some good memories of the earlier Tomb Raiders and some obscure games I'll never find again.
Most of my time was spent on SNES/Sega megadrive though. Then I somehow got my tiny hands on 300 bucks for a PS2 at some point.

1992 DOS
I remember my first TV with composite only had one audio jack because it was mono. Literally didn't even get to have half the sound from the game. I remember actual instruments being cut out of some Tony Hawk 3 songs as a result.
Mid 90's, Atari 2600.
Then I moved on to an NES. Skipped the SNES completely, went straight to Gamecube. Then PS2. Then PC ever since.
I miss my Sega MSII
My first proper console was an Odyssey 2. God it was a piece of shit. Got a 2600 back when they were relevant. was lucky enough to have a C64 in my grade school to fart around with.
these
If you think the coleco one was bad, you should have seen this monstrosity. The buttons were impossible to press and the dial couldn't be gripped. Wonder who the hell thought these things were a good idea?

Late 80s, Sega Master System. Great system, but who was the genius that decided to put the Pause button on the system itself, and right next to the Reset button?
intellibro here, actually I am already pretty old too (42 this summer).

I remember that I got into my first real fight because some kid tried to steal it from me. Somehow managed to Throttle him and got suspended for a week.
Master System playing games like Klaxx, Teddyboy, Wonderboy, Rainbow Island, Lemmings, Dynamite Dux, Sonic Chaos, etc
My mother, of all people, was the one that got me and my brother into video games.
outta my way casuals
why do I feel this is some reddit shit
Somewhere around 1988 starting with arcades then NES shortly after. My first PC was in 1991.
I bought an adaptor to combine the left and right audio channels
