Final fantasy 8. Square Enix has been remaking Final Fantasy games recently, 8 seems like a fairly easy port to make, and I'm sure plenty of people would be happy about it

>deserve
It would need to have brand recognition so the remake makes sense while also being shitty enough that they can't ruin it, Donkey Kong 64 fits

Dungeon Keeper

PM64

Demon's Souls

this cause i havent played it

also grandia 1 and or jak and daxter with mature themes

None come to mind.
95%+ of remakes don't do the original game justice.
They're usually casualized and often remove features.

FEAR

pic related
for a pokemon game, the protagonist was really badass
just wanna have new Pokemon (and added features from the sequel)

Chrono Trigger.

I really need to replay Colosseum.

Skyrim

Space Harrier

and, you should be able to drive the motorcycle of the protag

TIE Fighter

Dino Crisis

With online co-op.

...

Tf2

Not for graphicsfag purposes but to de-bloat it and get the whole thing nice and streamlined again

Hellnight

Persona 3 and 4 in P5's engine/style replacing shadow only fighting with no fucking card game like in p3 with demons and negotiations

Yeah, I'm assuming they're going to remake FF8 sooner or later

DUNE

God Hand

Morrowind, ez

SMT 1 and 2

No matter what developers do people will nitpick a remake to death cause it doesn't fit with their childhood memories

X-Men 2 Clone Wars.

Spore, for fucks sake.

Fossil Fighters without a doubt. I'm afraid the new developers will fuck an actual sequel up.

I know it was a forgotten DMC clone, but it was a good time. Especially getting the big OP soul dude after maxing out your other soul dudes.

Syphon Filter.

Jesus God, no. Just let it fade into oblivion like the overhyped piece of shit that it was.

Final Fantasy Tactics

FUCK
YES
Some things that were awesome in CL:
Using the grappler stand to counter boss attacks
Stopping time
Replaying old levels after the full moon and fighting different unique enemies
The music
You had stands

Plok

KOTOR 2.

Give Obsidian a second crack at it so that they can actually finish the damned thing with a proper ending and add a few more planets and quests while they're at it. Maybe update the gameplay to something more interesting, say a Dragon Age: Origins style combat system.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

Dungeon Siege 1 with new mechanics such as skills from 2.
Battle realms.
Final Fantasy II with expanded story.
Kingdoms of Amalur, but good.

Probably not a full on remake, but Mother 3 with the extra chapters that they had to cut out. IMO better graphics wouldn't really help as the game's pixel aesthetic already looks pretty good, but if they had to do that, maybe they should try and remaster EB64

TWEWY for 3DS, with (slightly) higher resolution assets and higher quality music.

the last of us

Happy Salvage.
Yusuke Ohmura should do the character designs.

>DA:O combat system
Why would you want to set the bar so low?

Spyro

uh
cribbage

Advent Rising. I am the only person that want's this.

Deathtrap Dungeon

Xenogears

So much fun. Redesign the characters, up the graphics, and make the ice powers useful and we'd have a GOTY

Battle Realms
Steam re-release has been in the works for like 5 years already
Fucking push it out already you fucks!

epic mafia

.hack, the first one, not the G.U./Recode thing coming out.

cribbage gives me gas

Persona 2 duology into a single 2-part game. Their fucking gameplay is the weakest point

Honestly if the space part where removed or something it'd be fine.

Then follow it up with the sequels we never got.

The entire Bullfrog lineup would make for stellar remakes

I mean, I liked DA:O. The combat was fairly satisfying even if didn't blow my mind.

I generally prefer turn based; but that would take a more radical redesign.

What would you prefer?

shit yeah
and release an HD trilogy of xenosaga while they're at it

Super mario bros 2 (usa)

Postal 1 remade with a Muslim main character

Have you seen Seifer's updated design? No thanks. Nomura has lost his touch.

Star Wars: Empire at War

That was only in kingdom hearts though. Cloud had a different design in that game, but they still stuck with his old design for the remake

I feel like CL was just an all in one package. Tons of content, decent learning curve, NG+ (with the option to play as Arcia, which gave you a different, albeit spammy playstyle) and I remember it having an intense final boss.

The only right answer

Syndicate

Jade Cacoon

Def Jam FFNY ya old bitch. Now I'm going to wear my pants really low so you can see my underwear and talk about doing suggestive things while a beat plays!

Guild Wars

Haslo 3

AKA the only old survival horror game that would be improved by being more like a modern horror game.

Turok needs a ground up remake, not a re-release of the PC version with a resolution bump.

SaGa Frontier with cut content and missing scenario restored. Though there's a rumor there's going to be one soon.

Skate 1-3 for pc.
Skate 4 never ;_;

SWAT 4

id be interested in a quake 1 remake that maintains backwards compatibility with the original like starcraft. would be kewl

nier

meant to respond to OP whoops

Blood

eternal darkness

Indigo Prophecy

HALO

Project Eden

*turns the gun on you*

Rocket Knight Adventures

skyrim

Jet Set Radio Future

Saints Row 1

I can post several

RE123
Silent hill 2
Asscreed1
Turok
Half life 1
THPS 3
Grim fandango
Final fantasy 6
FF tactics
Breath of fire four

If I still have my old memories I'll post a never ending list

why? it's fine

The Super Robot Wars Alpha series done by the OG team.

good choice

blast corps

Black and White 2.

Battlefield 1942/V/2/2142 remastered

Total Annihilation

...

A game that is lost to time, either via being un-emulatable or having technology that is tied to it working properly that cannot easily be replicated.
