The only crazy thing about this game is that anyone at any point thought it was a good idea that would make money. You know that old article about Timesplitters 4? How publishers were hesitant to touch the project because they couldn't work out how to market it?

Battleborn is a perfect example of what they were talking about, this game is a complete mess that is all over the place. Gearbox had no idea what to do with it, 2k had no idea what to do with it, which is probably why they turned to picking a fight with Overwatch shortly before the games release. They legitimately couldn't think of another marketing angle to sell this disaster.
