I got Roy way early on at launch, he was alright, but man he is lackluster.

I just blew a bunch of orbs to try and get Tharja/Nowi. No luck but I'm drowning in Vantage 3 fodder (three 4* Rein, two 4* Lonq). What heroes really want Vantage? I've already put it on Ryoma and Nino but that's about the only heroes I own who I think would want it over some other B-Skill. Would you put it on Xander?

Shadow Dragon wasn't trash, just painfully mediocre and admittingly really ugly. NM retains the artstyle sadly, but makes up for it otherwise.

he is, and he's more or less the strongest standalone unit in the game. he was even more so at launch, but he's still a fucking monster

He's in and he's one of the the strongest units in the game. You probably won't get him though.

QP Thundercock has him beat now, but Hector is still one of the best Offense heroes in the game.

Actually, while we always knew that Hector was a monster, the abundance of powerful swords that dominated and defined the early meta meant that Hector wasn't an incredibly popular pick, and some even debated that he wasn't S tier. It wasn't until SI made a large majority of swords irrelevant, and blues became more common place, that Hector became the beast he is today.

They can't even include FE4/5/8 in Heroes more than a handful of times, or make FE x SMT without fucking it up. Look at Warriors for god's sake.

gunna have to call BS here, in the months after launch literally every high end arena team was Hector/Taco/X/X. He's the only unit that consistant stayed at S+ in the tier list if you actually buy that crap

He's widely regarded to be in the top 5 characters in the game and is the best axe user and armored unit by far.

There was an event back in April/May where you had a high chance of getting him, Ryoma, Takumi and Azura (Ike was also released at that time).

Slap Vantage on him and you get an unstoppable killing machine once he's at below 75% HP.

Vantage Hector still wins if he's taken damage or has res-buffs. QP Moonbow Reinhardt is still really fucking dumb.

5* only and rarely comes on banner.

you can just re-roll your starting orbs until you get him, since you're just starting. It's a bit of a chore, especially on an iPhone, but if you do it long enough you're guaranteed to get one. I did that on a second account when his banner come around.

Like, you could spend a grand and not get Hector at all levels of rare.

Only because he contributed more to Arena points than other units. He was still seen as a great unit that suffered because reds were so prevalent.
