The ponytail and blue catsuit are ugly compared to loose hair and simple underwear/tanktop from Metroid II. Having her outside of her suit for things like casual situations or sitting at a bar makes the character less mysterious. The suit should be her "all the time" clothing that only comes off at the very end. Making her wear very little under the suit would also be a good thing because it would make Nintendo show some restraint, so she would only be out of it as much as she was in Metroid II.
This is not a deal breaker for me though, it's a minor point. The game looks mostly fine, I'll buy it.

I'm playing Metroid 2 on my GBA and not having a fucking map sucks dick so I don't know if I should continue or not yet I'm on area 3 with one last metroid eluding me to progress. It's good but tedious as fuck and combat really isn't that good either considering the metroids just fucking float towards me and I shoot them a couple of times.

The gameplay I've seen if remake looks fucking great and I'm definitely going to pick it up because of stated reasons above but you're just nitpicking about one thing you whiny faggot that has no influence over gameplay.
