Hey Sup Forums, Will $1200 be good enough for a PC rig that can handle 1440p,high/ultra settings@60fps?

Yeah

...

Thanks, but what CPU should i get? I don't know much about PC's but i know that 1070 is a decent GPU.

Then why the fuck are you posting in my thread?

pcpartpicker.com/list/QvkTgL

skylake something something

>1200
that's really expensive for 1440p 60fps
Post your PCparts

Seriously speaking volta is out q1 2018. I'd say save you cash

Because I want to, pcbro

Can you make one for less?

Can build a 4k 30fps machine for less
580 and not an i5 and bam you're good

>Says he doesn't care
>Replies to thread like a retard

nigga google some shit get on reddit or youtube, people here wont help you

I have an i56600k and it runs everything at around 120fps on ultra. It really depends on the optimization of the game tho. Also have a 1070

Of course you can op.

If you wanna save on a gpu try getting an 1070 or 1080 from evga b stock

I know people say prebuilts are shit but is this a decent one for the price?

Complete bull shit unless you're using parts from other computers you already have.

right away I'm gonna say no because it's a 7700 and not the K, so no overclocking for you. hold on, I will do your work for you and tell you for sure it's a rip off

Thats okay but your essentially paying 60 bucks for a prebuilt insteadod it going to a K processor

Pc fags get off my board!!

"Herrrr durrr Ima composer scientist durrrrrr!!! I put parts togever like lego blocks durrrr!!"

Stop rucking ruining gaming with your piracy and sales and prices that hurt developers! Fuck off!!!!

No.
Just get a gtx1080 or 1070 ftw and i7 4790k and build around it.

Go read a book if youre that bored, jesus christ dude.

Let me guess, your a pcfag who thinks they're better than me just because I play Xbox 360? Fuck you!

it's fine for the price, but you should just get the 7700k instead

What's the difference between the K and non K, is it just overclocking? What if i don't care about overclocking?

you should care about overclocking. by not overclocking, you are intentionally cucking yourself out of a stronger cpu. don't skimp on the K just to save like $60 or whatever.

Ryzen 1600. You can get a K-series i5 but paying that much for a 4 core CPU with no hyperthreading in the current year is kinda stupid. Pair it up with a GTX 1070 and you'll be g2g.

Just overclocking but you will care 3 years down the line when you have to purchase another 200 dollar cpu + 100 dollar mobo because every new intel processor has to have its on socket while you coulda just got the K and push it back to 5 years+.

There is a reason people STILL own i5-2500k

Personally, it's not the shittiest thing. On parts alone, you're close, so you'd be paying around 75 bucks for assembly, and thats if you bundle your ram. Plus, I can't see the back, but you only have 1 usb 3.0 port in the front. You need 2 of those for VR, in addition to a 2.0 port. If you don't care about VR, look up some benchmarks for 1440p on youtube(a 1070 murders 1080p, so don't bother there) and see if runs shit above 100-70 at all times.

I have a Ryzen 1600x and a GTX 1070. Runs 1440p at highest w/60+ fps perfectly. Haven't even overclocked anything yet.

At 60? you could get away with 800$.

At 120/144 1200 is more reasonable

I has like everything you need

...

Holy fuck that is a retarded build list
pcpartpicker.com/list/9F2CWX

>amd cpu
I could see how you thought that may have been a good idea if you had down syndrome.

>AMD
>Bad
Explain

Go to any benchmark site and compare for yourself. We're talking about from a gaming perspective too.

this man was probably raped by a computer dont mind him

>tfw just built a 7600k / 1080 pc and all I'm playing is overwatch and homm3 at 1080p

Specs
>msi gaming m5
>I5 6600 (4.2ghz)
>16gb of ddr4
>Gtx 1070
>1Tb
>128gb ssd
>850Psu
>240mm memecooler
Feeling like a casual.
pls r8 dont h8

You can get one which can into 1440p/60fps for ~850$, that's without a monitor tho.
And no don't use a TV as one. Just don't.
