If you're interested in it, how have you not played it yet? It can run on literally any computer.

Oh yeah. And while some people will bandy about the importance of choice in the game, if you're playing for the best experience you'll want to avoid using the attack button. Doing anything else locks you out of the true ending unless you replay it, and a lot of people aren't willing to do that and end up totally hating the game. The game does have alternate endings, but they're more lackluster/goofy/edgehard.

idk, on my first playthrough I have only defended myself from everyone who attacked me and was pretty satisfied with the neutral ending I got. Didn't care much about any of the characters and was pretty happy with outcome.

Might be interested just 'cause of trophy support.

If they can't port all the jokes, like the keyboard thing and if PS apps can't force close themselves, it'll be the inferior version.

Yeah nah. I did the neutral route and hated the amount of unskippable dialogue. I doubt replaying it and taking the route with even more dialogue would improve the experience.

I get that but I've heard that the game pretty much gives you the middle finger if you do try to go through the no kill route on your second playthrough.

Thought half the point of Undertale was that your choices mattered because it fucks with your registry to make things "permanent".

A large portion of people who enjoy it happen to be young and/or go on tumblr.

When the game originally surfaced it likely gained popularity amongst furries because of the 'goat mum' meme that was one of the first memes from undertale to spread, this ended up gaining popularity on Sup Forums for a while until others started to catch on and play it or hate it because of the overwhelming amount of undertale threads taking over Sup Forums and other forums

Happens a with a lot of things here, I like the game for what it is a lighthearted story with some darker elements but obviously this gets popular with the same young audience that likes shite like slender, homestuck and shipping which is the real cancer not the game itself.
