What the FUCK are you talking about? I bought the vanilla game and then the Chaos DLC only and had absolutely no problems training Greatswords or any of the Empire siege equipment including cannons or steam tanks.

This was pretty much the point where I decided to never by CA games again, I got Warhammer at release and even though the DLC policy was disgusting, as well as the same useless battlefield AI they have had since Empire, I played it for a while.
But the announcement of Warhammer 2 goes beyond any sort of greed I would ever have expected, CA can go fuck themselves.

Not really true in this particular case. TWWH1 is still going as strong as ever, it's the most played TW game as of now and it shows no signs of losing its playerbase any time soon, especially since CA confirmed there's more free DLC on the way specifically for TWWH1.

It may come as a surprise to you, but Total Warhammer has the best DLC policy in the TW franchise. No other TW games had unique factions with unique gameplay mechanics and units with unique animations released for them. No other TW game had as much free DLC released for it, especially since most of the TW DLC is actually good, including Bretonnia - a faction that is completely fleshed out and viable in both SP and MP.

I barely played it. All I remember is being swarmed by a bunch of single agents/champions who made every turn take ages and generally annoyed the fuck out of me. Half the game ended up being chasing them around the map and relying on the RNG not to kill off your own.

Why was Rome 1 so fucking good? It's seriously still the best TW in my opinion. I've been into Warhammer Fantasy for many years and enjoy Warhammer Total War but there's something really nice about the first Rome.

You see, when you're creating two entirely unique races and then two similar ones but still different textures and animations, then more than doubling the size of the map as well as the factions present as well as all else that goes with making a faction fun and viable and then sell it in a way that you can buy it completely independently from the first game it is an expandalone.

At this point in my playthroughs I mod out Chaos because Horde mechanics are lame as fuck but you're not allowed to do that you fuckin' shitter, suck it up.

Play the Dwarf campaign first, if you're new. It's the easiest one and dwarven early units are so good you can literally roll your face on the keyboard during combat and still win. It will teach you all you need to know to play other races.

I'll just play as dwarfs then, they dont have to deal with the constant flood of faggotry from the north. Fuck this meme empire.
