Boring mess or underrated gem?

Boring mess or underrated gem?

underrated gem

overrated boring mess

It's an underrated boring mess

one of the best rpg's ever made

second to best game ever made
Undertale first

1st one? Combat is ass but it did do one thing right. Unlike the 3rd witcher, preparing potions in advance was meaningful. 2nd was also alright in this regard. Alchemy is near meaningless in the 3rd one not but because it isn't effective but because there was never a situation where you had to brew them and plan in advance, not to mention you had a near infinite supply of them since you could use any alcohol to replenish them.

if u finish it in one go ->if u dont ->

I like the dark haired girl character (I didn't play the games, I just jerk off to the characters)

Fun as hell

Would be nice to have a remake without the sex cards. I enjoyed them in there, but thanks to those, the game gets oftentimes unfairly reduced to that aspect when it has so much to offer.

>disliking chapter 1 and 2
pleb

Both. It's a boring mess in the first two acts, then becomes an underrated gem.

neither. it's a loved gem

Chapter 1 is actually good. But chapter 2 is a boring mess

That was my first pc game ever played. Got it as a present for my 11th birthday. So many good memories. A lot of people didn't like the combat but I thought it was kinda cool with the strong/fast enemy types

I replayed it about a year ago being a bit more seasoned and it was just as enjoyable as I remember it being, I never released Alvin was the grandmaster until this point. I thought that was really cool

Also Siegfried was a babe

overrated pos babby's le first edgy ADULT FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME game.

Even better when you read Alvin's/the Grandmaster's letter to you in Witcher 3. He was a tragic character.

When I left the sewer at the start of chapter 2 and got hit with a 17 part quest list my heart sunk a little.

Boring mess, just like the other two.
3 is at least okay.

Really good story and lore
Fucking shit combat

>tfw one of the few people that prefer 2 over 1 & 3
I just liked the choices and branching story I guess, could really roleplay your own path through

Playing it right now after finishing 3, I like it quite a bit, even with mods it's still ugly as sin but the writing is good and you actually need to prepare for situations beforehand. Combat isn't that bad even on hard although it feels like it's very easy to get gang banged to death even in group stance.

Atmosphere and fan service for book readers were top notch (imo best in the series), gameplay on other hand not really my cup of tea.

I agree especially with the atmosphere, those paintings used in the loading screens go a long way

If you don't like Witcher 1 it is CONFIRMED you are retard

I won't reply to your posts, retards

Boring gem or underrated mess

Boring gem.

Same. Roche was also a bro.

TW1 > garbage > TW2 > shit > El Witchman: Arkham Swamp

chapter 1 is godawful because of all the walking back and forth in the outskirts
