Look at the dates user. It took PS4 2 years to get anything worthwhile.

I have one. It's alright. The system itself feels like its still in beta. The UI, Eshop, and profiles are all pretty bare bones. It doesn't seem like they are updating it anytime soon either. The 3 games you have listed aren't even released yet. BotW is great. MK8D and Arms both feel very empty in content though they have the Nintendo polish and charm.

No Monster Hunter in English is a bummer. No Animal Crossing announced. Once Splatoon 2 is released I think it will be a great system but right now there isn't anything special about it.

PC for definitive version of multi-platforms, PC exclusives and semi-eternal backwards compatibility.

PS4 for Sony exclusives like Bloodborne, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Death Stranding, Deep Down and future From Software Sony exclusive. It also has weeb shit if you are into that.

If there's a good reason not to buy a console in its first year, it's this right here. Really means it's just down to $$$ and how much sense it makes for you personally. It's not like every third new switch is getting a red ring or anything like that.

PC+Switch is an amazing combo, if you enjoy childish colorful east games targetted at children, which is 95% of the content Nintendo produces. As a mature high IQ gamer, I don't enjoy Mario, Kirby, Splatoon, Arms, Zelda and other Mario games. Such a shame Metroid is a nintendo IP.
