Game is anti-religion

>game is anti-religion

>the protag kills god at the end

>he believes there is a giant man in the sky controlling everything

...

>god is already dead

>He doesn't

>game is pro-religion

>the church is evil
>in the end, it was just a few clergy who used the church to forward their own ambitions and god never appeared at all

>Nietzsche is already dead

>Game has tangible God's that perform miracles and communicate directly with people
>There are still people in-game that don't believe in them

>all signs point to God being the final boss
>go to the bottom of the final dungeon where God is said to dwell
>there was no one there

>God tell them traps are gay
>They hate him because he told them the truth

>God is just a pokemon-type summonable creature that does the bidding of a common person
>Common person uses it to kill forest animals and bandits

>was catholic

>afraid to say it out loud because i don't want to be considered fedora man
live is pain

No, the real reason you're scared to say it out is because you don't want to burn in hell for all eternity.

Believe in God if you don't want to suffer.

>lost my faith in god after I played a game
This is just dumb. It's like saying you lost your faith after watching a Michael Moore documentary. You absolutely deserve a fedora.

>build a town with a large cathedral
>go beat up God
>God goes live in your cathedral

>game lets you exorcise evil beings

I fully understand and support Homura.

Your issue is you didn't have a belief to begin with. Being born a Catholic is like being born Jewish. You have lots of family traditions and a culture you identify with. But that doesn't mean you believe in the faith.

She's great.

Sad how Dragon Quest VIII did "the church is evil" better than the dozen Final Fantasy games that tried the same story.

>game tells the story that touches philosophical subjects more or less directly connected to religion
>somehow, playing it and processing your imaginary journey isn't right reason to reconsider some assumptions you had
so, what is the right reason to lose the faith?

you might be right: i was born in very, very catholic family (like, going to catholic summer camps tier catholic family. those camps were amazing though). I still enjoy tradition, just realized that i don't exactly assume that all of the god talk is true.

That being said, i used to assume that there might be some higher power, maybe not living in the sky, probably not creating world in seven days with cool gardens and shit, but i still assumed it's possible that there might be something higher than us. Now i stopped.

W-who's behind her?

Oh that's me. Me and Homu are about to play.

You better get away from her asshole

>tfw fedoraman
>tfw I wish I could believe in gods and stuff because it would be cooler than mundane every day life
>tfw to intelligent to think such things can be plausible
it hurts bros

>lost faith in god after a 7/10 taro game with weaker characters than the first game

come to 8.chan/christian/ and make a thread, I'd discuss this with you but this thread might 404 soon.

shortly after that pic was taken I put her in the full nelson and fucked her asshole so hard she couldn't even regenerate it instantly

sorry dude

>be a retard
>claim to believe in god
>stop believing for a game
You probably didn't care about God before, anyway.

>2017
>still no good Madoka games
