ITT FUCK YOU IM EXCITED FOR IT
ITT FUCK YOU IM EXCITED FOR IT
I forgot this was a thing and I love my PS4 more than my Switch and almost as much as my PC.
Honestly kind of disappointed in the first game. It's just annoying.
im legit happy this is a sequel and prequel
>I forgot this was a thing
That would be the result of E3 2017 having no news on the game.
Now time for some faggot that actually liked the first game to put on le I am silly impersonation in memetext and type ecks dee ironically.
I didn't watch any conferences, I just checked out the trailers on games I thought would look cool. I watched Monster Hunter, Shadow of the Colossus and then Nintendo's 20 minute highlight reel and then I turned it off.
im more curios then anything else, id like to see what they do with it and if they branch out from the cliche story or not
also more online gametypes, I want a team death match with infected
The game was as close to perfect as this genre has. This is a good example of "nothing to gain and everything to lose." The sequel can't possibly live up to the original and will make the whole franchise worse for it.
Reddit and Neogaf are only a click away.
I really liked the multiplayer of that game. It's just too bad I never got good at shooters on console.
>Fireflies sign
Didn't Joel kill them all at the end to rescue Ellie?
er, of the first one
The first was probably my favorite Zombie game I've played because it wasn't
>Pipe shooter with zombies
>Arena shooter with zombies
>Musou with zombies
etc.
I'm sure they'll fuck it up, but I like to think it will at least be moderately close to the original.
...
>inb4 still cant have more than one home base despite two potential bases being right across the street from each other
Besides hunters vs clickers and improved AI, there's not much else they can bring to the table in terms of new gameplay. That's the only thing I'm worried about.
i want to believe it will be good
I liked the first one.
Besides co-op, what else does the 2nd game bring to the table? Don't get me wrong, I liked the first but after watching the trailer I didn't notice any differences from the first.
The multiplayer was the best part
No, he killed their leader and slaughtered one of their bases. The rest would probably want revenge, which leads to them doing something that puts Ellie over the edge and makes her want to kill the rest. My guess is that they went after Tommy's town.
Speaking of Tommy, I hope we get more there. Joel splitting up with Tommy before the first game would have made a perfect DLC.
he only killed like 50, there was still a bunch that chased him out and they have outposts all over the US
i dont think they've announced anything new but co op yet
I want to see Bill again. and flashbacks of tess, we didnt get to see enough of her, Id like to see what it was like in the years after the outbreak and with sarah dead, joel going full apeshit
To be fair when they announced it they said it was in super early development since they were still working on the Uncharted DLC. Sony announces their games way too early, I don't expect this game to come out within the next 2 years.
Not like it matters, but the first game's story ended, the big thing came and went for better or for worse and Joel and Ellie had survived. So this can only go to two equally disappointing routes
>Le bad big situation just kinda happens to Joel and Ellie for the sake of more Joel and Ellie
>Ellie learns of Joel's lie and wants to sacrifice herself to be a hope for a cure- completely invalidating the first game's events
I kinda mad yo
...
Luckily for them, Sup Forums hates open world games now and wants everything to be a linear corridor shooter
I dunno if I'll buy TLOU2 day one, since I don't pay for PS+ and have a hard time justifying 60$ for a 15 hour singleplayer game, but I just finished the first TLOU last night and I overall enjoyed it.
The plot had some holes/was predictable, but the execution of the story beats was well done, and the acting was great.
The gameplay was the best of any modern naughty dog game, I really liked the scarcity of resources and focus on completing encounters by any means necessary.
On topic, though, I'm beyond hyped for Metroid Prime 4. No amount of
>it was just a logo
reasonable talk can get me off the hype train for METROID PRIME FUCKING FOUR
I'm also optimistic about Battlefront 2. The map we saw looked a bit meat-grinder-ey, but it seems like they're actually fixing a lot of people's complaints, and all post-launch maps being free is especially tempting. The lack of instakill cheese bullshit and weaker heroes was nice to see.
The Evil Within 2
I'll play it but tlou was like a solid 7 to me.
I just hate the half assed content in open world games.
I was somewhat interested in playing this until I remembered that Sup Forums will ruin it for me.
That doesn't mean anything
I agree fully
When it drops to around 30-40$, I'll deff buy 2
The whole franchise of one game
>Ellie learns of Joel's lie
It didn't seem like she even believed him. But that's basically going to be the story, Ellie gets mad because Joel took her out of there, Joel tries to explain the deal, Ellie runs off somewhere and Joel starts to hunt her to bring her back
Did you even watch the trailer?
no
these
didnt know it was happening and now im excited for something new
Graffitis don't disappear when you kill the niggers that did then you dingus.
Then do it
I prefer to just make shit up
That E3 trailer looked like complete shit. Just jank out the ass.
But I want it to be good. I agree that there's great potential there.
She wants revenge. It's possible that the people she killed in the house in the trailer are Fireflies.
Speculation time:
>Fireflies go looking for Ellie
>Ellie and Joel have settled down in Joel's brother's village
>Fireflies raze the village to get Ellie back, go full Machiavelli and kill women/children/Joel's brother
>Ellie swears revenge against the Fireflies
Where the FUCK is it
...
The original game was also jank to be fair
it may have been jank but its one of the best zombie games ive played
oh i'm not disagreeing it's jank but good
Sup Forums in a nutshell
...
Whenever I try to talk about this game theres just a bunch of retards complaining that a lighthearted humorous fantasy game is lighthearted and humorous
>generic stealth gameplay
>good graphics
>good voice acting
>ok story
Kept my attention through
7/10
There are better stealth games and zombie games.
>game about revenge
>not called The Last of Them
played it and got bored at what i think is half way through, the stealth isnt deep enough, the puzzles are not challenging at all and are a chore. Combat is mechanically unsatisfying. There is a good game in there somewhere but like every thing AAA release in the last few years all the edges are shaved off to appeal to casuals.
bioware's open world rpg sequel to thq's 40k: space marine
>mass effect died for this
>and nothing of value was lost
I just went back to SoD a few weeks ago and that game is still gold.
I love it so much, the group building mechanics and managing makes the game feel more human, like you're actually trying to survive.
Also the amount of varied characters is crazy, I don't know if they're randomly generated, but they seem like actual characters.
The whole social aspect of this game is amazing.
The art direction is pretty great too.
If there was one negative I could pull out of my ass it would be that the actual combat is serviceable at best.
I gotta say, the iron man flying got me erect.
I know Bioware has bee trash over recent years, but this game speaks to my inner 8 year old.
I just wanna fly around and shoot stuff.
I'll wait a bit though because anything could happen by release.
I feel ya my dude hopefully they pulled some of the old blood back into this game.
