>Due out in Japan on November 22, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX is a packaged release that includes the paid downloadable content from the download-only Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone, in addition to new elements such as new songs and modules.
Project Diva Future Tone finally gets a physical release and new songs. Hopefully they also have the new stuff as DLC for people who already own the game digitally.
Ah, you beat me. Well, Happy Miku tuesday anyways!
Hunter Flores
WHAT THE FUCK, YOU FUCKING KIKES. I BOUGHT THIS SHIT THINKING THERE'D NEVER BE A PHYSICAL RELEASE AND NOW THERE'S FUCKING ONE AND I'M GOING TO BUY IT BECAUSE I'M FUCKING AUTISTIC AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Hudson Nelson
I just hope they release the additional songs on digital as well, because if not, I'm going to burn up SEGA.
Joseph Gomez
Pretty much this. Also the physical one is japan only so far.
Ethan Lopez
But now that I look better, I don't know if they are going to actually release "new" songs. It looks like a special edition with all the packages and DLC included in a BD.
Jordan Perez
Does it have the missing songs due to licensing problems?
Owen Roberts
We will know on July 6
Hunter Rodriguez
I don't know but >in addition to new elements such as new songs and modules Pretty much sounds like it's new content. November is still months off so I hope they actually release new shit in the arcade or maybe even port the still missing songs from the arcade to console version.
Benjamin Martinez
Japan only isn't really an issue since it's not region locked, so it's easy enough to import it. Time to wait and see what the pre-order bonus' are going to be.
Carter Roberts
Paid downloadable content as in the base game that you had to buy as two downloads, as well as the DLC to that.
Since the game was free to start.
Cameron Rivera
>Project Diva Future Tone DX is a packaged release that includes the paid downloadable content from the download-only Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone >in addition to new elements such as new songs and modules
Chase Adams
Yes, the new songs and modules introduced as DLC to the paid downloadable content of the base game.
Connor Cooper
>that includes the paid downloadable content >in addition to new elements
I'm starting to think that you are trying to abuse my gullible nature to keep this thread bumped.
Jace Robinson
What the fuck is the appeal of these games. It's like Madden, only instead of updated stats and new rosters, they add costumes and change a few songs around, yet people still pay full price for this shit twice a year.
Cooper Lee
Sup Forums said it'd never get localized either. I don't know how divafags myself included keep getting it wrong.
Lincoln Rivera
Miku is love
GTFO
Jason Gonzalez
To be fair, I do not think SEGA will issue new songs on a physical package, instead of as DLC for the digital game everyone and their mothers bought for the last year and a half
Caleb Martinez
There's nothing wrong with liking the games, but what could possibly be so different that it warrants weekly threads and several new games a year?
Elijah Gomez
It's a good Madden then. Would buy each 6 months if it were possible.
Adam Hill
I don't know how big the DX upgrade is, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did it like that new guilty gear update. You can either buy it as an upgrade for your exisiting copy of guilty gear revelator or as a physical new release that has everything included.
Julian Smith
>Tfw you waited for the physical release
Justin Parker
>tfw SEGA Europe and America refuses to launch the physical edition SEGA Europe will refuse, at least. 100% sure.
Bentley Scott
I really hope so. More songs is always a good news, especially Miku. Maybe pic related will finally be on FT.
Bentley Reyes
When I hear DX this is the first thing that comes to mind. I think almost all the DLC songs we got so far were from this one. I don't want to sound too hopeful but maybe they figured a deal out to get gumi in.
Adam Wood
Japanese people are asking for the new content to be available as DLC so it is possible it has new content.
Still, what are the implications of this? Surely, it would be absurd for the DX game to have DLCs, as in FT, so is this the end road for Future Tone?
Xavier Miller
I'll give it a year to get localised, otherwise I'll use it as an excuse to import a ton of shit
Aaron Campbell
They can remove Meiko, Len, and Kaito and add Gumi. That would be the best.
Ethan Sanders
if this is a dlc update for the poeple who owns future tone what is the most fair price this dlc should get?
Carter Allen
>remove MEIKO Die.
Ryder Miller
>Surely, it would be absurd for the DX game to have DLCs Why though?
Lucas Bailey
Like Meiko's career?
Evan Anderson
Because you don't release a recompilation edition expecting to launch DLCs later.
Luis White
No. But I like MEIKO. She is a good girl that deserves love.
Henry Cox
>tfw I bought the japanese digital version because I thought localization never ever
Landon Green
I don't know man. To me it just looks like Future Tone sold better than expected and fans wanted a physical version so sega decided to release one for a new content update or something. I might be wrong though.
Christian Sanders
If SEGA thinks I'm going to double dip they are completely right.
William Evans
as long as it doesn't involve her singing
Luis Harris
Maybe we'll finally get something from whoo.
Chase Butler
Same point as Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and whatever other rhythm games people play these days. It's a rhythm game, the new songs is the whole appeal.
Ayden Fisher
>Remove official crypton vocaloids Yeah not a chance mate. I like Gumi and all but she's not relevant to the main cast at all. She's the exception here.
Ian Thompson
Jin is a faggot and hates money so he will not allow Kagerou Daze to be included.
The guy of Hachi Hachi Hana Flower is missing. Like, he disappeared from the face of Earth. Gone.
Camden Thompson
I know it would never happen but it would make the game a lot better.
Camden Parker
Nah, despite the hate, there a few good Len/KAITO/MEIKO songs.
Aaron Price
>what could possibly be so different that it warrants weekly threads and several new games a year? Can't say much about Madden but 2016 was the only year two new games released and between the vita releases none of them share any tracks. The one most people talk about now, Future Tone, was ported from arcade machines and has way more content than any of the other games. As for the weekly Monday threads, that's just some sort of culture inherited from Sup Forums-/jp/ since 2012 or so. Goes without saying that it's fairly off-topic.
Nolan Richardson
Being a long time vocaloid fan, I'm too jaded for this stuff. Many of these talented producers just MIA or die. Memento mori indeed. What if I like their songs ? I just don't play them as much as Miku's and Rin's.
Daniel Nguyen
Just stick it in the game and hope that he's dead. I also want Saturation in.
Elijah Phillips
>Many of these talented producers just MIA or die. This is fairly normal when the thing is sustained by individuals instead of companies. Happens the same with the Free Software community. One day a talented person invents a revolutionary new file system, then the next day you heard he is in jail for murdering his wife.
Isaac Rodriguez
Yeah but to me it's actually worse in this case. You see, back then the only thing fans knew about these producers was their account in a video hosted website niconico so if they didn't update new songs after a period we couldn't even know what happened to them, except when their families and friends confirmed the bad news. What makes me sad the most is that these producers are fairly young people with a love for music and vocaloids, they aren't professional at the start. Thanks to vocaloid and nico the fans know their work and support them. These games imported to the state don't tell the whole stories behind how vocaloid fandom came to be.
David Sullivan
Damm, July 6 can't come fast enough. I will not sleep easy until I know they will release an update for Future Tone.
Carson Ramirez
Sega should make better contracts.
Dylan Rogers
>still no Yukari
Jack Ward
STAAAAAAAAAYYYYY
WIT ME
Ayden Russell
Who is that? Some non-canon vocaloid?
Easton Lee
Dunno if I'm the only one but I can't wait for the PC port
Nathan Garcia
Someday she'll get her own game And a Nendoroid And a concert
Hunter Thompson
Yukari has Minecraft though.
Adrian Robinson
Most of memorable songs (including the classics) were made by fans and watched freely on nico, not from contracts of corps or famous agencies.
Gavin Foster
>tfw bought both the jap and english versions when they came out and will buy this when it does as well
Aaron Bell
Yeah, but SEGA needs to make a deal with each producer individually, so if they are doing the effort they should do a GOOD contract just ONCE, like: "I can use your song in perpetuity for all future games and you'll automatically receive a share with each new game.".
This way, SEGA won't have a problem with people disappearing or refusing later on.
Ryder Mitchell
How can you say you love Miku if you can't even triple dip on her games?
Nicholas Cruz
>I can use your song in perpetuity for all future games That would be too much. An easier one would be "can I use your song for this arcade game and for the future home version of this game"
David Watson
I want to make hot tea for Miku.
Michael Cooper
Uh I get your point, examples like kz(livetune),ryo, sasakure.UK, etc. What I meant from my post was that before SEGA even knows the existence of these people, they must build their own credibility with the fans first. And many don't succeed. You know the reasons. Me too. But stop posting my husbando. He's only autistic for art.
Sebastian Torres
>Mitchie M shares the news on Facebook What does it means? WHAT DO YOU KNOW, MITCHIE M?
Isaac Wright
It'll be a quad dip if this winds up localized as well
Joseph Morgan
>quad dipping a Miku game If Miku does not sleep with you after this, I don't know what else needs to be done.
Gavin Taylor
>remove meiko how about you remove you'reself fucko
There's only one step beyond quad dipping buying the arcade version if I had the money and space I definitely would too
Kevin Stewart
I'm not sure if sega sells the arcade board to people. And I'm sure that if they did someone would rip the whole thing and distribute it on the internet.
Cameron Roberts
I'm going to die of happiness if they put Viva Happy in FT.
Julian Smith
Im not the terrible vocaloid screeching out shitty songs in the game
Caleb Scott
True enough, it would still be amazing to have if it was possible to get ones hands on one
Christopher White
Somehow people got the arcade models years before future tone.
Carter Long
>I'm not sure if sega sells the arcade board to people They don't. But nothing prevents you to fund a company with the only purpose to buy Arcade machines, right? In my country, you can be a company with 3,000 € and a bit of bureaucracy.
>someone would rip the whole thing and distribute it on the internet. You can easily buy the old Arcade version prior Future Tone from arcades. The problem is that cryptographic security of these machines are not that easily defeated.
Chase Bennett
There are people trying to decipher the tiny picture of the magazine. I trust you, Internet!
Thomas Sullivan
The magazine should come out in the near future, shouldn't it?
Jaxon Roberts
July 6, but people wants to know NOW.
Landon Sanders
Granted, but it's ported from f's edit mode and looks like the Saa, Docchi edit.
Chase Garcia
Guess its time to double dip assuming it gets over here
Oliver Torres
I'm happy that he's still making vocaloid songs and answering feedback. I think he's trying to make Miku talk. Maybe a real News39 channel video? I won't stop you. Speaking of P5, how's the threads going? Are they still just autistic shitposting?
Yeah you fucking weeb trash faggots daddy Sega needs marketing money for their new console so pucker up
Oliver Rodriguez
WHAT THE FUCK YOU FUCKING FAGGOTS SAID THERE'D NEVER BE A PHYSICAL VERSION OF THIS GAME
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES
Parker Cruz
SEGA has been "do the opposite of what Sup Forums says" for a while now.
Jaxson Roberts
>Implying I'm not going to buy the physical edition only to left it unopened in my shelve and keep playing the digital version for the convenience
Jack Reyes
I hope the Future Tone special edition comes with better stuff than Mirai did
Andrew Scott
God damn it I just bought the bundle yesterday after being on the fence because of digital only. It's my first Project Diva game, too.
Aiden Cruz
Well it launches in november in japan and who knows if it will even come to the west. Actually nvm, it will come to the west but it will certainly be later than the JP release.
Ryder Lopez
From what we know so far it comes with a better game at least.
Samuel Ramirez
It's not going to be released in the west until mid-2018 if ever so...
Luke Garcia
There will also never be a Virtua Fighter 6..........
cmon sega
Juan Wright
So, they were adding songs to Project DIVA Arcade at a rate of around 4 songs/month since 7 years ago... They stopped releasing new songs back in December... Does this mean we get 44 new songs?
Grayson Parker
Fun fact: Virtua Fighter engine is used for Future Tone so, in a way, Future Tone is the new Virtua Fighter.
