hitman just went free to play
Hitman just went free to play
It's a fucking demo.
>demos are 'going free to play'
you kids are so fucking stupid
it's called a FREE TRIAL you bigot
Having those first 2 training missions as a demo is something they should have done from the get go.
>single player game demo
>F2P
Gen Z was a mistake.
Squeenix most likely didn't want that, now they're free.
are these the missions from the beta? the one with the yacht on a movie set?
I seriously can't tell if this game is actually good or just memed everywhere because compared to the rest of AAA garbage that is released it's decent.
Someone sell me on this.
I believe so.
its a hitman game thats as good as blood money
what else you need to know fucking retard?
try the demo
2 missions
the yatch and the soviet chess master one
Tell me why should I care about an online game service from last year, which is now stale, when I'm drowning in great titles I yet have to finish and don't fuck over consumers?
>not paying for your demos
what are you, poor?
better than MGSV itself, worth it
>tfw you're too much of a Hitman fan that you won't play it cause Jesper Jyd didn't compose the game & natives don't speak their language like in older games despite how the game is
feelsbadman
*how good the game is
did they remove the online unlockable BS? if not they can fuck off
>not a big enough fan to eat shit because it might be hitman scented
>natives don't speak their language like in older games
Remind me, how much dialogue did the old games have?
Those reasons are pretty autistic.
its good
its also episodic
its also always online. failing to check in results in not progressing while playing.
fuck square enix
does it have achievements?
YAME YAME
It's little yeah but it's part of the charm of it, like this for eg.Add how good the soundtracks were too.
youtube.com
youtube.com
How much dialogue does the new Hitman have? Hurr durr languages hurr. Fucking retard.
you have autism, your opinion can be safely discarded.
They removed denuvo from the pc version
IO is now independent and not part of SE anymore. This is probably the reason for this demo as well.
Episodic really isn't that big an issue for how much you're supposed to replay the levels. Going through one a month is a good pace. It also lets you skip the worst levels like Marrakesh if you didn't buy the whole thing, or only pick out the best levels like Sapienza or Hokkaido.
>beginning of Hitman
Those two tiny linear as fuck levels set in a fucking hangar built out of wooden decorations with just one opportunity scenario each? If anything that'll turn people off from the game, they'll think it's the same shit as Absolution. Could at least put out Paris level.
>i want more free shit
bernie will never get elected, go fuck yourself
It's a chance to show off game mechanics at least.
???
I guess having better gameplay than even Blood Money is really tertiary when it comes to Hitman game, music and badly pronounced foreign words are where it's at.
he has autism you can't be sarcastic like that
>Those two tiny linear as fuck levels set in a fucking hangar built out of wooden decorations with just one opportunity scenario each
You're either stupid or didn't play them.
i like the new update, the ui feels cleaner and and the levels load faster. don't like the new giant square they do for the exits.
Barely, I guess it'll show how opportunities work with the chess player, but the appeal of the game is in how big levels are and how many opportunities you have. Being funneled into one scripted scenario hardly shows people how it works.
Goodbye aaa hitman games
the second level in the ICA facility has multiple opportunities.
you're so fucking stupid your posts barely warrant a response
never post in my threads again
also, no more denuvo
It's not like we would ever have another AAA hitman with squenix.
>also, no more denuvo
source?
>the only way to make the game worth the money they're asking is to force yourself to replay the same content over and over
lol
No thanks, I'll remain uncucked
I did mention the game's good, just that I have my personal reasons why I didn't play it. Didn't even bash on the game.
Sheesh all these (you)'s. Thanks though, my dear anons.
If I remember correctly Square barely spent any money on this Hitman. It's not like they're going to be making kickstarter low-poly Hitman games, they're still a proper developer studio.
>uncucked
>posting on Sup Forums
you are the very image of disillusion.
>breaks off from SQUARE
>STILL online only
really gets your noggins going
are they the same missions as in the beta?
They supposedly removed denuvo (I've yet to see a source for this). Maybe their next step is to get rid of that too.
actually one less mission, kek.
I'm sure they didn't retard,
Yeah a studio with no money
The game was built around online functionality and now they can't make it offline without throwing those functions away. Although, I wouldn't miss them.
The military base isn't free?
the beta had paris, iirc, the demo doesn't have it.
Next time try to punctuate, so that your post makes sense.
It didn't have Paris.
pretty sure it did.
Pretty sure you're an idiot.
en.wikipedia.org
>List of games formerly using Denuvo
and
reddit.com
Not the best sources, it doesn't seem that IO has said anything about it...
Except those features were thrown away in the retail release, still requires online only for some reason
user used projection!
It wasn't very effective...
Don't forget those special missions that you could only play once and they were only available for a few days. So fucking bizarre.
It's strange that a demo is now called "free to play"
But hey that's great. It looks like a fun game and maybe a demo will encourage enough people to buy the game after IOI spent a fucking fortune buying their game back.
i distinctly remember footage from Paris with 47 having a suitcase, that's why people kept complaining about how "it was in the beta why isn't it in the finished game?!"
>the source on Wikipedia is a thread on redit without any proof
Amazing.
Leaked alpha. You're still an idiot.
pls no bully.
online unlocks still there
>Episodic really isn't that big an issue for how much you're supposed to replay the levels.
Every time
Holy shit this game bombed hard. I can see why Square was eager to get rid of it.
I don't think the problem is that you're too much of a Hitman fan. It's that you have autism, mate.
They're probably risking a lot. They need to make some money to fund a new project and then they need the new project to be a success or they're fucked.
most people aren't even aware of demos. that's why there are still threads here about 'how is dishonored 2' even tho it has a demo that's like 40% of the full game for over a month now.
Well squeenix was the reason it bombed. The always online episodic bullshit ruined an otherwise decent game.
>online only
>episodic
>denuvo
>shitty marketing
>niche game
I wonder why it bombed...
>Goodbye aaa hitman games
>Implying that they won't just release new seasons for the existing game instead
>Episodic really isn't that big an issue for how much you're supposed to replay the levels
>Never played a Hitman game before this one
Nice one, you dumbfuck. Previous games let you replay specific missions too. Enjoy your piecemeal content you fuck.
>implying they have fund to do this now
You can kiss S2 goodbye
Good point. They thought they could trick people into paying full price by trickling all of the content while saving money on development costs. Some poor assholes fell for it, but it bombed for the most part.
Its amazing how despite your severe braindamage, you can still write somewhat coherent sentences. Proud of you, user.
It amazes me how triggered you can be over a video game despite being over 18, S2 won't happen by themselves.
Hopefully they won't be dumb enough to keep future installments episodic.
ITS NOT F2P ITS A TRIAL!!!!
