Hi, this is an open world. Say something nice about her.

Huh. I WISH that a game did an open world in that setting.
High fantasy gets no love these days.
The last good open world was 15 years ago
That hill with the seven trees on the left is asking for it.
fallout?
"Realism" is killing games. I want a balls to the walls fantasy world that utilizes the "fantasy" part of the genre.
Witcher 3?
no
>HIGH fantasy
DUDE
MANA
If you aren't handcrafted by Monolith Soft you can get the fuck out of my face
LMAO
I honestly hate them without exception. After all these years I can't believe I fell for it again with Zelda. I've done two shrines and I'm honestly contemplating quitting.
There better be something good in that damn castle.
>Enter the castle
>Much smaller inside and layout doesnt make sense
>Windows outside, walls inside
>You can explore the whole backyard though.
That's literally Hyrule Castle from Breath of the Wild except some retard carved out the cool cave system underneath because "lol gravity? What's that LMAO"
None of the truly compelling content is on the plateau. Some shrines are interesting, but they do become a little bit of a known quantity after a while. The surprises you discover in the broader overworld are the real shit.
Witcher is as high fantasy as it gets.
You don't have to be saving the world from Lord Bauron with the help of a faggy elf and a mountain jew to be HiFan
I don't even know how to get to those in the snow section. There's nothing in my log, I can see chilli peppers say cook them to make a spicy Neal but I can only rest at a shrine. Literally all the game us now is boring travelling - same as every other open world.
What ever happened to open-ended big levels?
I don't understand the problem you're having with cold resistance recipes. I'll concede that there's a bit too much traversal, but between shield surfing, gliding and climbing, it can be pretty engaging in places.
No, but high fantasy tends to be more idealistic, and Witcher is cynical as fuck. Plus you can't even make your own character.
I don't know how to cook. If I go to a fire it lets me rest til dawn, noon or night or something but that's it. The game won't tell me anything.
Go into the item menu and press the button to hold ingredients in your arms. Then, close the menu and drop them into one of the cooking pots you come across.
