Can we have a Dragon's Dogma thread?
I started this game a couple of weeks ago and I'm having lots of fun. I'm at level 34 and wandering around like a retard, doing random quests, running away from fucking dragons, summoning qt pawns, etc.
Oh and I'm playing as a loli dressed as a princess. This game is awesome.

it's one of my favorite ever, and a lot of Sup Forums would say the same. I normally do an assassin playthrough, but now I'm doing fighter/warrior as guts.

can people rent your pawns after you finish and uninstall the game or do you have to log in every day to make them available?

I haven't been able to log into the server and rent other people's pawns for ages

Great game. Though I found BBI more frustrating than enjoyable.

Going to buy the ps4 port when it releases.

Played it a few times already but never really got far in BBI before becoming bored.
Definitely need to tackle that this time round.

I don't mind that too much,but i do lose all of my pawns and and that's a tad bit annoying.
Its the bloated health of some of the big enemies that I can't be bothered dealing with, but then that's partly my fault as I don't use everything at my disposal and prefer to just combat my way through stuff

the reaper is not a single encounter, you can attack him and run away and when he appears his again his health doesn't refill. you whittle away at him over time. or you can use switch to ranger and roflstomp him with exploding arrows

How does he keep getting away with it?

I think you still need the game installed. I stopped playing for a few months and logged back on and my pawn had been used by over 14 players.
Good tip if you want people to use your pawn is to make a waifu and name her after a popular movie/tv show character. I called mine Sansa Stark.

If I play as a Ranger up to BBI and then switch to Magick Archer, will I have a harder time compared due to the lower magic defense leveling?

i know, i made the most worthless build(going full magic then switching to physical at bbi, and i din't have that much of a problem, you just need to play well and exploit their weaknesses)

if you just progress the main quest you won't get some side quests

Well, first off, side quests work differently in this game: The world carries on without you as you progress the main story, so be sure to do them - they're all actual quests, unless they're noticeboard, and they give you a lot of context into the world and its goings-on.

I beat them with torpor spam from rusty daggers. It took forever for my magic using pawns to whittle them down.

I don't know really I've been playing a ps3 save file I started about two years ago so I wasn't really paying that much attention.
