Some of us have a wide variety of tastes. I made a 3x3 before, but I really wanted to sit and think what other games I also enjoyed, but weren't in the top 9. It was fun.

Those games are not open world, and thinking they shouldn't be considered the best of the best is not the same thing as hatred.
BG&E has busted boring stealth and combat. The platforming is grating. I don't remember the puzzles being that elegant. The aesthetics and writing are nice though so I can see how people can like it.
I only played Spyro 1 but that just has clumpy controls; it felt amateurish like a licensed game does. Collecting ~gems~ in unfocused boxy levels isn't very engaging. Nothing quite feels good in that game (in the way that shotgunning an enemy in Doom is satisfying, or pivoting in Super Mario Bros. has a joyful weight to it). Spyro 2 came out a year later so I can assume it's pretty much the same.

I've read somewhere that there is an estimated 50,000 games on the PC alone across the globe. I don't think games are quite as limited in number as people might be inclined to believe. You might argue the number of critically/commercially relevant games is much less than that, but I'm sure even those are pretty numerous after even the most severe of cullings and autistic considerations.

Every person I have shown spyro says it controls very well. Maybe it is not the best controls in the world, but I believe the controls are pretty good.

Basically it is Spyro but there are different NPCs for each world who you help by defeating enemies, or solving a puzzle. There is also a cast of other characters who help you along your journey. It went from you against the world, to you against the world with friends helping you along the way. Except for Moneybags, he just owns a monopoly on places you need to go, and you have to pay him to progress.

I just got triggered by seeing that graphic is all. Surely if you liked Tetris so much you could pick a specific verison you like a lot. Even furfags put in specific pokemon games instead of the entire franchise.

I think you'll find way more similarities in two Tetris games than you will find in two pokemon games. I'm with this user, Tetris is Tetris.

If you say so, personally I don't see it get very much praise or recognition outside of places like Sup Forums and rpgcodex which constantly circlejerk it.

I coulden't personally get into it, even with mods, the enviroments are too desert-y and drab.

Sup Forums shilled it super hard, then i caved, played it for like an hour and dropped it.

I don't get it, people compared it to Vampire:TM in terms of quality and i was dissapointed.

I don't think playing an hour is enough to really assess a relatively long RPG, but fair enough if it just didn't happen to grip you

Should probably add i sunk about 30 hours into fo3 and that gripped me within 20 minutes,
I get what you're saying, though.

Troika which made V:TMB and Arcanum was helmed by Tim Cain who works at Obsidian or at least he did during Fallout: NV he is also the creator of Fallout in general and wrote and programmed most of the first game by himself.
