I preloaded it and I hope it sells well enough as a fuck you to Nintendo for not promoting this game at all

They showed it off on Treehouse stream and talked about it in a Direct. Most likely Nintendo doesn't want to spend too much on marketing for a 3DS game when Switch is out. Most likely why they didn't talk about Metroid 2 until the stream instead of in the direct too.

Last game I played by these guys was Legend Of Legacy and it was utter wank. So don't have high hopes for this.

Can I get it on freeshop? I checked last night and it's not there. It's not worth the hassle to install it by taking my sd card out when I can just wait for the ticket and download it directly from eshop.

I'm playing the game now and I have to say it's pretty bare bones. I killed the first boss.

The only interesting aspect is the dungeon crawling. Building your town is non-existent. You have very limited room to build. And the only thing you can build is bloom booths and some seeds that improve their sales. Their maintenance is so fucking irritating. You walk into a booth, load, increase stock, load, rinse and repeat for however many booths you have. The town is literally a chore. Dungeons are fun but very short and very easy. Puzzle solving is basic and boring. It relies on whether you have a citizen that can solve it or not. That's it.
I hope as you go along you get more customization and dungeons become longer and harder but this far in I'm beginning to doubt it.

It's honestly a pretty mediocre game.

As somebody who initially came for the lizards, I'm actually interested in its lite-Souls gameplay granted the weapons/abilities pan out.

Also holy shit half those Seedlings in the demo were cute as a button, Evia especially.

Theres a gradual difficulty which is good then monsters get three times as strong out of nowhere and you get fucked by the skill and stat rng

The game isn't hard so far. I only had trouble with the third lumite boss since I didn't see the outside of the arena was poison and it inflicts slowness.
The game also gives you a free full party revive that replenishes each time you return home.

Eventually you get a stall that lets you restock everything from one spot with a few button presses. You also can assign gardeners but that means you can't bring them into dungeons or let them run their shop.
Even this doesn't stop it from feeling like a chore.

It isn't really misplaced. After I beat the new Fire Emblem I put everything in a drawer and don't feel like digging it out.

Plus I just made 950 steam bux selling a few bandanas for Player Unknown, so I have plenty of space bux to buy Steam games. That is where I'm gravitating.

I genuinely forgot this game was a thing, and wasn't that interested before. My 3DS is dead as fuck though, I'll download the demo once it's charged enough to let me.

On the plus side, it's one of the first things that pops up in the Eshop. If the demo is good, those two things combined might not make this be a TOTAL disaster.
