That robot character was pretty cool. I also liked the portrait of the ghost that made you hotel actually haunted. Fuck those fuel rods though. I usually just sold them.
>the Urbs!
What about
>The Spc!
Sims 2 on DS was a shitshow, just like most of the Non PC Sims.
That's the one where you ran to hotel right?
That game scared me as a child
PS2 Sims was breddy gud
AY BABIDACHIA
>PS2 version
>Horrible, bare bones version of The Sims
>GBA version
>Unique adventure game
Why did they even name them the same thing? I played both.
Someone got xizzled
This game was cool. I miss being a kid
Fuck that level where you shrink, I was stuck there for ages because I couldn't win the conversations. Also fuck that mummy.
...
one of a kind
I love the Sims on GBA games. They were just so fun as a kid and I've got such fond memories of them.
I dunno man, I felt they were generally good. I loved bustin' out on the PS2 . The story mode was good and I liked being able to play the sims seeing as I didn't have a PC until I was older. The Urbz Console was shite though
Yeah, it was also real time instead of Sim time.
Same desu, fuck NDS and it's gimmicks that make it impossible to simulate comfortably on your phone
the sims 2 for psp was fucking great
Definitely not a conventional Sims game, but I loved it as a kid, and so did my older siblings. I kind of liked the fact that it worked in real time. It was like a goal-oriented Animal Crossing with Sims aesthetic and humor.
Loading times are pure horrible though. Used to make moving environment a chore.
Gr8 game i miss it
AYY LMAO!
These two.
Also, getting to the moon base in Urbz is more or less a THAT KID story except actually true.
All home console Sims were shit. Despite the handheld ones intending to be the spinoff, they were actually pretty fun different games that can't just be compared to The Sims on PC and seen as inferior.
who am i kidding, everybody's played this
>that can't just be compared to The Sims on PC and seen as inferior
This, the Sims 2 on DS had NOTHING to do with the PC sims.
How did they actually expect people to be able to play a game like the sims on a DS platform?
Why were all portable Sims so good? (Except Sims pets) they all had awesome humour too and they were original as fuck.
Sims 2 PSP - Classic from new kid in town to grand hero plot
Sims 2 NDS - Taking care of a crazy hotel and visitors
Sims 2 GBA - You're an actor, and missions are the plot for the episodes of this cool TV show
Then there was Sims castaway, that it was so fun in portables. The Urbz, way better than console versions too. Sims Bustin Out, etc
They didn't, they made the handheld games something different. The GBA games are like these adventure games with sim elements with goals and great characters. It kinda sucks that now days there isn't a single game coming out like it. The 3DS games from what I remember tried just being a bog standard cut down sims game like the console ones but that kinda just...sucked.
>tfw playing all The Sims GBA games and those recurring characters
>tfw Misty Waters is your /fit/fu
This and Coloris were good.
What didn't help was that they were Japan only though.
All the characters were so nice
I had such a crush on Dustin Hogg
finna bust a nut
>the time machine you get in Urbz that has getting back to grandpa's ranch as an option
>The GBA games are like these adventure games with sim elements with goals and great characters.
Even if they characters were good, doesn't having a plot go against the glorified God simulator that the sims are all about?
I did, it would crash to a black screen every time I tried to open the options menu though. Did this happen on your copy?
i fucking LOOOOVED these games
played PSP Sims 2, was actually more fun than the normal PC version
I tried to play sims 3 on a PC much better than my old one. It stutters and there's nothing I can do to fix it. My old PC played it fine. Why?
great game. you manage a huge space station with aliens who have different preferences.
DUDE AYY LMAO
Yeah. You're more hands on with your character and can only really control the one you create at the start of the game. I'd honestly give Bustin' Out or Urbz a try. Bustin' out is on the GBA and Urbz has a DS port with touch screen mini games
>Bottom left

I fucking loved these games and the music.
Kris Thistle best girl.
What do ya'll think of this?
the keyword here being shit
it's was hard for my little child brain
Pretty good game, rarely see it mentioned tho
It was such a disappointment after the excellent GBA games.
>we will never have a new portable Sims spin off.
I just want to play the Urbz GBA for the first time again lads
If someone was to kickstart a game like this online I'd totally toss all my money towards it.
fucking this, holy shit. That game was so complicated. Would love to play it again
I genuinely hated this game as a child.
This game was a childhood definer.
>Tfw perfect score in hoops
>tfw customizing the hell out of apartments
>tfw sleeping then running to the store to see what's on sale repeatedly
>Tfw even talking to other sims was fun
This game had no right to be as incredible as it was
dude I FUCKING PLAYED THAT SHIT SO HARD ! I think it was best for its atmosphere and style that sticks to the back of your mind forever
Kyle is that you?
Holy shit, Mike?!
Fucking long time no see man. Hows things
I'm actually not Kyle anymore. Please call me Kira from now on! Anyways, Tom and I are doing great, we are soon adopting our second child - Jolie & Pitt style, if you know what I mean
...
Safari or Darkweb Kira muh lass
Soundtrack was top tier.
I remember seeing a tweet last year about a possible sequel in the works. I hope so.
...
Just start a new game bro.

Actually a 9/10 Adventure Game.
Even features a reference to Broken Sword and it's Goats,
This is the best puzzle adventure game ever made
Fuckin Perfect.
a gift from god some would say
did you stay or leave Sup Forums?
Essentially a Fast & Furious game without the license, but with the face and voice of Vin Diesel.
Man, I played the shit out of GBA Bustin' Out.
>tfw unlocking the scooter
This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Kinda enjoyed it as kid.
...
It was a whole new game when I found out regular Sims 2 lewd mods worked for this
GET READY TO YETI
Its on iPhone/Android
Is it worth pirating?
Rummy is my forever Waifu,
Limit the frame at 30fps and install overwatch (the mod, not the game)
I love the Urbania Day theme from this game. It's a shame it had the smallest house.
youtube.com
It hits everything a video game theme should be. It's upbeat, feels like a bustling small city block. Hell, being let out of prison and hearing this theme was great. It was just like someone told you "Here's a city kid, go nuts"
I used to love restarting the game again and doing it all over again. Although, the swamp was the worst fucking part of the game, but it had the best mini game imo.
I remember that there was going to be a movie which literally was intended to explain the premise of the game and serve as a prequel with Vin Diesel starring and co-producing. The thing never happened obviously.
Also i remember you could casually get into police cars passenger seats and you would be considered arrested and get a game over
It's because the combat it frustrating at best
Phone games are underrated as hell. IIRC, Gameloft also released the school sims game, the sims game sets on beverly hills, and a fucking The OC game.
I think I played a big city one like this and it was fun a fuck on the iPhone
oh fuck ive played this. didnt know wtf to do
if you are into graffiti yeah (street art , vandalism etc)
Legitimately brilliant RPG.
thanks for posting will download
