Any decent smartphone + bluetooth controller = problem solved. Even a modded PSP can handle most systems up to and including PS1 pretty well.

Most of the popular games (i.e the ones that get VC releases) emulate pretty well.

Not emulation. The Wii U has the hardware of a Wii inside it which is backwards compatible with Gamecube.

Only virtual console I want is N64, Wii U and Wii. Gamecube I can emulate with ease and any older consoles I can play on 3DS with emulation/hacks.

SNES games crash on it sometimes, and N64 is IMPOSSIBLE to play.
PS works only because sony included in the psp the possibility to do so, if it was for the emulators it wouldn't be able to do that either.

It hardly matters if Sony made the emulator as long as it can play ROMS. SNES emulation on PSP is shit-tier tho and N64 is basically experimental on hardware that underpowered.

Switch would be great for VC since I could play Mario Kart 64, Mario Party or co-op on Kirby Superstar anywhere easily. There's no more hassle to teach people how to use an emulator for online play anymore either.

Yes, for vastly superior virtual console than Nintendo could give for something I've already had for years. You could buy a Wii for like 50 bucks for emulation and a 3DS for 100-200 bucks and hack it for games on the go too.
