Marcus never did anything in-depth. He has a major character flaw in that he gets very excited about an idea, starts on it, gets tired of it almost instantly, then drops it. Hence all the various "runs" of the Souls games in which he just stopped uploading after a few weeks.
Honestly, the only reason he ever had any success on YT was that he just so happened to be the first person to do Souls content in the west, since it wasn't accessible at that time. There're better LPs to go to if you want actual in-depth analysis.

But holy shit does her accent and most of what she says give the impression that she's an imbecile. Right before she corrects Yahtzee on something that breaks the illusion slightly. Because he can't make any fucking money on Youtube. Why would he make the effort to record footage with music, title cards, and take the time to explain things thoroughly and in great detail when he could make like five times the amount of money just playing a game on a stream and talking with people? The reason why he doesn't upload to Youtube anymore is because the amount of time he'd spend editing something together would be better spent streaming, where he'd make hundreds of dollary doos a night, possibly more (haven't bothered to watch him stream)
It's the exact same thing with DSP; everybody rails on him to "make structured content" and "just edit your videos so they're watchable".
