So this piece of shit mouse died after 2.5 years. The middle wheel click just doesnt work anymore

So this piece of shit mouse died after 2.5 years. The middle wheel click just doesnt work anymore.

Ive taken this thing apart and its just a faulty switch.

Dogshit.

Whats a good alternative to this shitty deathadder that doesnt have a million fucking buttons with GAMINGZ MOUSE!!! written all over it?

I just want two thumb buttons, left and right click, mouse wheel click.

What are my options?

zowie ec2a

>new adders are better than the old ones
>have old one
>it's still going but I use it as a backup because the cord is so frayed
op is a fag for bitching about chinese electronics going bad

this shitty $20 mouse and keyboard combo lasted 30 years so far.

The Logitech G400s has exactly all you described.

I use the Zowie FK 2, it's the only mouse I could find that was comfortable to grip.

Zowie fk1

Only complaint is I have big hands and wish it was just a tad larger

comfy option

>zowie ec2a
How do you justify that price?

Whats so good about it?

Im bitching about the product being dead and i want a new mouse thats better.

3 more buttons for what purpose?

it looks the same as the ec2a, whats the difference?!

>He doesn't know how to solder and repair things

Fellow trackballer, our kind is dwindling

...

>trackballer,
sounds gay man.

All trackball users are gay

>Looks the same as the ec2a what's the difference?
Dimensions. Also ec2a is more right handed shaped, while the FK is more ambidextrous (so closer to a Razer mouse).

Zowie mice are great though. Lightweight, good cable that doesn't snag, simple, and no flashy bells and whistles.

I bought mine in 2011 and it still works just fine

the zowie fk1 is great op, around 50 usd

>ever buying non-logitech mice
kys

had the exact same issue with my deathadder after a few years. wanted to get a zowie but couldn't justify the price.
didn't want a gay looking 'gamer' mouse.
ended up with steelseries rival 100.
not as good definitely because dpi is not fully customizable. but i'm used to it now.

It died because that is not a G900 user.
Please buy the right mouse next time

Logitech G403 wireless is the way to go.

is a piece of fucking trash, zowie have QA problems like fuckin crazy

the side buttons are absolute dog shit, non-mechanical mush

the mouse wheel is a sticky piece of shit that stops scrolling completely after a few days

the shape is amazing but thats about it

Zowies are cheaper than deathadder in my country wtf.

You should be banned even for suggesting that.

t. logitech shill
their mice have shit construction quality and their customer service is terrible.

deathadders wear out after a year or two of use as well. not sure about the one he recommended, but after my last deathadder died i switched to a zowie fk1 and it's great for broodwar

your mom should be banned for not aborting your stupid ass

Are SteelSeries mice actually good or just another gaymer meme?

Repair it you fucking dunce.
Take it apart and drop in some 100% alcohol into the button and click it rapidly til it gets revived. Works 90% of the time.

zowie would've cost me $100. deathadder for $70-80. the steelseries 100 cost me $50.
yea. everything is expensive in australia.

G502 is the best mouse I've ever used and my first master race pc rig was in 2007, playing FEAR. It just WERKS on anything I plug it into to, even blank machines with no OS. Long wire with a velcro flap built in. Weights, if you want 'em and programmable buttons if you ever need them. Perfect lazer that will work on any surface without problems. The lazer itself doesn't get clogged with pet hair, like some of my older mice would.

Only 1 thing that i don't like about my G502, is that it doesn't have an easy infinite scroll option. You have to press a button to unlock its infinite scroll option, where as an older Revolution mice I used in the past would just infinite scroll if you scrolled fast enough.

I guessed your mom didn't care about quality either when she had your redneck ass put into her womb. There're no good things about Bloody mice: their quality is shit, their sensors are garbage, they only seem comfortable for the outside, but their shape is horrendous, they are heavy and feature useless "gaymer" garbage even moreso than Razer. Kys.

Zowie EC-2A

FK2 has a funny shape.

I switched to a Trackman Marble around the time Unreal Tournament came out. I never looked back. It was an absurdly solid mouse and the thumb-ball design is amazing once you get used to it. I used that thing for I don't know how many years.
Then Logitech stopped making the cabled version, and my mouse broke.

I tried the M570, but I just can't get along with the wireless shit. Also, the left button broke after a year; they're just not made for regular game use, but for laptops.

>tfw you're once more reduced to moving your whole fucking mouse around like a pleb

its a alright mouse, using it right now
Great for aiming
price sucks
The side buttons dont bother me at all

Only problem with it is after about a full year of everyday use the fucking material coating on it is now completely slippery.
Don't get it if you have sweaty hands

This is my first ever trackball amazon.com/ELECOM-M-XT3URBK-Mouse-Trackball-button/dp/B016QCPO0G/ and I really like it

It's kinda sad that there aren't more variety for trackball mice, especially when couch gaming is a thing now and those are perfect for that use. They would rather get these silly breakfast boards

take car of your shit. my deathadder is 4 years old and going strong

Middle mouse button switch is stupidly easy to fix.

Just google it, it's a pain having to do it, but it literally took me 5 minutes to fix mine, haven't had a problem in the six months since.

That's actually an interesting one I might consider next time I break a mouse.
I see complaints about stuttering and bad ball tracking, though.
Funny enough, they say putting in the ball from an M570 solves it.

I actually take products apart for a living. i tried that, the part is fucked.

yeah , I need to get an m570 ball for it eventually but the problems don't effect me as much but it might drive someone who has used trackballs for awhile up a wall

Mine's going strong since 2008
