Games where you are the bad guy or evil guy

Games where you are the bad guy or evil guy.

...

I have not played it but apparently you play as some kind of bad guy in another bad guys army in Tyranny.

The original Syndicate games

Overlord and dungeon keeper

GTA. All of them.

Dawn of War Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm
Dawn of War 2 Retribution, and to an extent Chaos Rising
Dominions 4
XCOM 2
Every Killzone game

Payday, Left 4 Dead and World of Warcraft

Literally any game where you:

1. Are a white male

>Left 4 Dead
What?

Persona 5. Literally a story about you trying to kill Donald Trump l

>XCOM 2

How are you the bad guy in XCOM 2?

>bad guy
>literal super gangs warring across the city

Bill used white phosphorus to kill Vietnamese civilians. Francis is a gang member and cop killer. Zoey strangled her little brother. Louis is a nigger.

You fuck up a utopia because muh freedoms, and then doom humanity to be destroyed by whatever the Ethereals were running from.

>hasn't played the game

...

The Wolfenstein Games.

Raged so hard when I found out the story behind this

House of the Dying Sun if you want evil on a galactic scale.

Utopia?
It's driven home pretty clearly that it's a military dictatorship, you constantly see advent soldiers shoving humans around

I guess I can see your point though, it's been a good while since I beat XCOM 2 so I'm a little fuzzy on the details

>18
falseflag

EVERY WORLD WAR 2 GAME WHERE YOU PLAY AS AMERICANS BECAUSE HITLER DID NOTHING WRONG

you are not the bad or evil guy really

>losing
>has to an hero
>his niggas don't like him

>did nothing wrong

kek

I'm pretty sure humanity was getting genocided by the avatar project by the millions.

You can choose your faction in all the DoW games though

...

yeah but none are exactly "the good guy" by modern standard apart maybe from the tau

>Nier was the bad guy
You completely missed the point of the story.
There are no such things as villains or evil people in the main plot. Nier, the shades and the Shadowlord just defend what's important to them. It's a war where everyone believes they're doing the good thing.

Hatred

Nope, suddenly acquiring consciousness doesnt equalize you to others that already had it. Especially if their existence is tied to the body you inhabit.

This can be applied to any literally any game, or any situation in fiction or non-fiction. Every choice we make in regards to morals in subjective, and in any circumstance there is no ''Evil'' or ''Good''. What annoys me even more than the Nier story is the people who can only realize this fact when a game like Nier is spoon feeding it to them.

You don't go around to every single game and say ''REEE THERES NO EVIL ITS ALL SUBJECTIVE'', that ruins the fun.

Nier literally dooms all of humanity so he can spend time with his daughter, and both of them shouldn't even exist in the first place. If Yoko Taro didn't force the whole ''No evil side'' then people would see him as the obvious villain.

humanity was doomed the day gestalts started thinking on their own, project gestalt was a failure

That's like murdering someone and saying ''Oh well, he was gonna die anyway''. Research could have been put into the relapse cases, as long as humans were alive there was a chance they could be saved, but after Nier killed the shadowlord he effectively finished off any hope they had.

>chemical castration of humans
>slavish obedience or extermination
>rigid caste system that ensures no social mobility or freedom beyond what is granted to you by the overlords
Nah. They're as cunty as the rest.

fuck off back to Sup Forums
