I didn't say anything about the Souls games, I'm not really sure what you're talking about. My point was that the new Spiderman game's combat looks clunky, he jerks around because of the auto lock on, and it looks like one button combos.

As much as I loathe Early Access I picked up Dead Cells and that's pretty neat so far. You should look into that.

If you want something weird with shooting The Club was an interesting experiment, people disliked it because they compared it to other TPS games when it's actually a racing game.

Lost Planet 2 is retarded but it's a pretty cool experience with friends.

So not only did it rip off bamham combat but it's also ripping off dork souls combat in the same breath!

Yeah, as said I'm really enjoying it so far, honestly of the three it's the only one I'm recommending in straight up quality terms. Not that I think the other two are bad, it's just that they're not likely to get recommended and are on the weirder side of things. Probably ignore Lost Planet 2 if there is no way you'll co-op it though.

I'm still not getting my hopes up for Spider-Man until we have a solid demo that many people can try out and see if the swinging is trash like the Amazing Spiderman games, or on par with Spidey 2. They can spout it's physics based all they want but there's more to Spidey 2s swinging than simply sticking to buildings and having the web swing you around. When and where you let go of the web, where you're aiming, you pseudo double jump flip thing, it all added up to make an enjoyable mechanic. I just hope they took all of that into consideration.
