I had an alright time. It did not live up to my initial excitement at all.
It was only in retrospect that I grew a severe distaste for it. It divided the fanbase I loved interacting with.

It was the most I enjoyed a Pokemon game since Blue. I liked that they put a bit of a unique twist on the "get the 8 badges and fight not-Team Rocket" formula.

I literally played 45 minutes.
I got some fun matches and met some nice players online on PS3 and some from here.
Then bought the game on PC considering that it would run better and be on par with the other versions, it turned out to be a gutted PS3 version that lacked content from the console counterparts and worst of all had no online for the first 6 months or something like that.
Fuck that game, I only sometimes use it for Beach Paradise and have a quick fap to the new costumes.

I bought that on severe discount and was still disappointed. I savescummed my way to taking over London, then became bored by all of the pointless sidequests.

I don't have desire to play them because I have been playing DS3 for a long ass time and I kind of need a break from the formula, and Arkham Knight because the story isn't gripping me quite like the past two games.

Regardless I'll play them soon enough, just not this week.

I don't think I ever bought a pre-release that I didn't regret. That's why I stopped buying them.

ORAS and XY at the very least had decent online. The Festival Plaza was a terrible idea all around. Not mentioning those games at least run properly in double batles. We didn't even need to have trainers in battle. They're only there because of Z-Crystals, which unironically crash the game
