I think it is plausible, since Spiderman is in the MCU and there is that Spiderman videogame coming out.

I thought I heard that Marvel was hoping to start a videogame universe like they did for movies, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some crossover between MvC:I and the new Spiderman.

Didn't Venom get leaked as DLC? I don't remember Spider-man but I can't imagine him not being in, since he's in the MCU now anyway.

Does marvel even care about venom anymore? The spiderman 3 movie for example it was about the venom origin and he got shifted to minor villain in the movie compared to green goblin and sandman.

Spider-man was decent in UMvC3 IMO his combos were a little tricky to me but he had good movement with his airdash combined with L+S web zip and web swing
