Is Berseria considered bad or something? I only just picked it up during the sale and haven't gotten very far yet, but I'm liking pretty much everything I've seen so far except the dungeon designs and the running back and forth during the first (I assume) Northgand visit. RB 1 does nothing to the mainline series.
RB 2 only sets the "canon" dimension and the side characters of future games.
RB 3 is the actual good Nep game and has nothing to do with VII other than the fact that Neps now understand they can travel through dimensions.

If your PC is shit then you won't be able to even run VII at 60FPS.

If you're going to skip the rebirths then you could watch the anime to get a feel for the characters. It takes place in an alternate dimension and it spoils rebirth 3 but if you're not going to play it anyway then it's better than nothing.

Yeah, of course. The problem is that some people will always discredit even the most well-made and aesthetically pleasing pixel art games for being pixel art, but they don't hold anime artstyle to the same standard.
There is an oversaturation for pixel art, but modern anime artstyle is so overused that's it's not even comparable. There's not much more creative innovation involved to get the look for an anime artstyle medium down. Bodily and facial proportions are very often extremely similar, for example. Meanwhile in pixel art, making the main character model 5 pixels larger will result in a completely different composition of pixels. Some have faces, some don't. Some don't have legs, some do, some are animated, some aren't.

There are other ways in which anime displays originality and creativity, no question about it. But if someone asks you to make an anime character, a lot of it is a no-brainer, especially the entire anatomy.

With Nep and Senran, everything is voiced and nobody is forcing you to pick the English audio.

Yes. Not only is simply looking at cute girls pleasant, seeing them interact in cute ways is also enjoyable. The latter is generally required for most games. Just having a model of a cute girl in the game doesn't make up for shit gameplay in most cases. It's similar to CGDCT anime. They don't really have anything going for then except cute girls, but it's still fun to watch.
