Crash 1 is too hard!

>Crash 1 is too hard!
Is this what people who never played a platformer truly believe? The game got nothing on the champions road in SM3DW which is one of the easiest mario games ever.

most people that own a PS4 are underages that have only played cinematic trash and cover shooters that hand hold them the entire time.

Because most sony console owners dismiss the mario and every other nintendo series as "kiddy" that they never played a decent platformer. Then they go play Crash (which by the same standards should also be a kiddy game but hey, it is on playstation so it isnt) and they suck ass and say it is too hard. These are probably the same people that only play the shittier games on the ps4 library like fifa and movie games like uncharted while never touching most gems like BB.
TLDR: Normies.

>Crash 1 is the dark souls of crash games
Really makes you think

Ugh...I hate normies

because its not babby ass game like Mario.

>muh wahoo

mario games were never challenging or fun.

they are piss easy games with artsy muh original bullshits

both Platformer games and karting games wise Crash is always gameplay perfection .

heck even MK8 copied some mechanics from ps2 racing game of crash

kek

Is this the new crash thread?

>Ugh

Out.

Reminder that not only did they replace Obj_Motherfucker's death scream, they redid it enitrely instead of using that stock sound effect AND added multiple screams.

And they replaced the fat muslim bitches in Warped with Motherfuckers wearing burkas

Donkey Kong is harder than both anyway.

...

so is this Dark Souls of platformers?

Crash was 'hard' in the sense that it had limited lives and continues and a password system rather than a save system, which is another way of saying you had to learn the fucking game to get anywhere, and by modern standards that's obscenely demanding. Also fuck remasters.

>one wumpa run
Whoever this is is either insane or a god, or both.

Move the fuck aside.

Ahh, sorry, didnt realize i was blocking the trash can.

I am upset that they removed most of the boss dialogue. Example: Dingodile warning Crash he will be up against even stronger foes after beating defeated

Guys I think I might have gotten Coco pregnant. What do I tell my parents?

Only really DKC2, 1 and 3 aren't all that hard.

Crash 1 was always seen as fairly difficult, it's just that people new to the series are now getting exposed to difficulty in a platformer. I can't even think of another semi recent 3D platformer with difficulty on par with Crash 1.

>get to the third island just fine with no game overs
>"The High Road"
>game over after game over after game over

Fuck that level, I was doing so well up until then what the fuck happened?! I swear you can make less jumps on this then in the original, the bottomless pits feel like they are sucking me in half the time. Why is Uka Uka announcing my game over? It isn't until the 3rd game he is free. IMMERSION RUINED! 7/10 score!

>implying ANYTHING can survive the irradiated but unimaginably tight and moist fluffy confines of bandicoot pucci

Crash 1 legitimately has some hard levels though (in a good way). Levels like Sunset Vista, The High Road, Road to Nowhere, The Lab, etc. And going for 100% in all three main games is a fun but challenging challenge. Also the three games are fully remade from the ground up. This isn't really a remaster (where they up the resolution and that's it) since there's new content and changes even as well besides everything being redone.

Anyone doing a one wumpa run is obviously n. sane

lmao just walk on the ropes nigga,

it will come to no surprise to your parents that their obese son is a failure, don't worry

SM3DW's champion's road level is harder than any level in Rayman 1, but Rayman 1 still has some massive dick moves in its level design. Fuck that bouncy maze level in picture city in particular.

Why do you say that?

Phew that's a relief...

>Mario games were never challenging or fun
I know I should be used to it by now, but it still bugs the shit out me when people state retarded opinions as facts.

And that's why Crash has taken it upon himself to continue the bandicoot species with Coco.

I couldn't beat it now and I can't now. 1 and 2 is too hard. Warped is the only one that I can beat. Pretty sissy right?

*puts on wig and Japanese school girl costume*
*Lie on bed and present my boi pussy to you*

Take me.

I 100% crash when I had the chickenpox back in the 90s. Still have a stained ps1 controller from the lotion. I don't remember it even being challenging besides some secrets that were covered in a magazine. This is coming from a late 80s/90s kid who sucked at 8-16 bit era games.

Heh, I'm gonna have some fun with you...casual

*couldnt beat then and I can't beat it now

You must cream inside.

It doesn't matter how hard the level is when you basically have infinite lives. Rayman is hard because unless you save scum you have to start the whole game over if you die too much.

>Trophy:Defeat 5 enemies with Coco's double leg drop

Can the cuck developers not even call it a butt slam or something out of fear of being sexist?

>you have to start the whole game over if you die too much.
no you don't, if you lose all your lives you're simply kicked out of the level, you don't lose any progress in the game.

You can run out of continued actually and have to start all over

no, if you run out of continues it kicks you out of the level. If you use a continue, you get to continue the level - this is because levels usually consisted of 2 or 3 mini-levels. I remember this as I had to use a couple continues when fighting space mama, and using one would allow me to start from the boss again instead of at the very beginning of the level.

TL;DR you're talking utter bullshit.

OH SHIT

>people having fun playing some great platformers on ps4
>'w-why aren't they playing m-mario wa hoo'

who are you quoting?
OP was mocking the fact people were finding crash 1 hard

You, OP. Now go back to your Switch, child

People also think the perfect run is hard when CR destroys it handily.

Perfect run use to be some kind of measurement of skill when it was new and I played it finally last year. It was so easy compared to a certain purple coin challenge.

I'm not OP and I don't own a Switch

I'm so happy it still works. They could have fixed it so easily.

>The game got nothing on the champions road in SM3DW which is one of the easiest mario games ever.
Have you played the Boulder Dash and High Road Fumble in the Dark levels?

Well I would still call that a remaster, and I feel bad quibbling over semantics especially since you made some good points and don't type like a retard. I appreciate your post even if I don't necessarily agree with everything you say.

it still works? I kept trying but I would always clip through them

Pff

I got past a few gaps using it but at some it didn't work or I just missed the rope multiple times.
