I enjoyed both elements a lot. Great game.

Believe it or not, FEAR used to spooky people for real. And it's still better horror game than many more modern wannabe titles.

Even still, I never considered it to be horror-first, per se.

lol NO. It was mediocre back then but good for now because current year FPS is fucked downside up.

I remember the first time I played that I panicked and fell off the ladder at the start. Fun times.

Parts of FEAR are amazing. The re-used art assets reduce immersion though.

Very frustrating. There really aren't many other Ace Combat-style games, much less moddable ones. It could have been really great.

I loved the horror aspects just as much as the FPS aspects.
