Not counting CD right? If so then I completely agree.
Crash 3 always comes last because it's full of shitty gimmick levels. 2 is still best.

MGS and Halo. Strangely if you look at the Halo and MGS series their games follow an incredibly similar quality and structure path
>1 is a game that introduced the world and was met with commercial and critical success, introduced mechanics with weird design decisions that would get removed from later entries
>2 tricked you into playing a game from the perspective of a character who was not advertised. Has a story that people hated at the time but have grown to love. Both set up a bigger problem for the universe in game at the end
>3 slowed everything down, dumbed down the story, backpeddled on everything that made 2 unique and interesting. Despite all this casuals praise it as the best of the original trilogy
>4 is a massive clusterfuck of trying to tie up loose ends and retconning shit every which way
>5 has a marketing campaign that completely misleads the players in the opposite of a satisfying way. Both launched with no content, getting major expected features months after release. Both have a threadbare story that amounts to fuck all.
Yakuza
Almost perfect except mgs was pretty fucking amazing while halo 3 was not, as you said
>Pokemon
accurate
Dark Souls > Demon's Souls > Bloodborne?
I fucking despise MGS3 for a number of reasons, but mainly because they expect me to believe people who can shoot fucking lightning and bees out of their bodies at will can be intimidated by some bitch whose only action that is shown to us is some basic martial arts and a field strip.
>Johto
>worse than Kanto
Mgs is dumb, always has been. 3 was fun m
Castlevania
Borderlands
Key hunt at the end is hot garbage, doesn't let you start it as early as MP1's artifact hunt either.
>gen 1 better than gen 3 in literally any single way
end yourself.
>RS2>OSRS(the old school old school)>RS3
How the fuck is OSRS ''1'' here? It's just RS2 with more shit, you'd have to use RSC, rs2 and rs3.
>gen 3 onwards not complete dogshit
Millenials
Batman Arkham series
>Origins doesn't count
...
Millenials date back to 1980 you stupid meme spouter.
Take off the nostalgia goggles, gen 1 is absolute dogshit, it's a crime how buggy and non-functional that abortion was. Fucking Ubisoft games are less buggy than gen 1.
Pikmin
Yes it does count whether you like it or not.
I liked it better that way, felt more deliberate. The fact that they were invisible made me actually feel like I was hunting them, in MP1 I'd sometimes find them accidentally, the same way I'd find missile expansions.
I realize this is a pretty uncommon opinion so I'm not gonna act like it was objectively better or anything.
Well, even then OP's pic is accurate
>felt more deliberate
But it stopped your progression dead in your tracks since it comes at the end of the game, it's like if you were forced to search for missile expansions and only at the end of the game, when the point of that kind of exploration is that it's optional and gives you freedom. Really reeks of padding.
Devil May Cry
Metal Gear Solid
dark souls
Def Jam games
>Devil May Cry
no, DS2 (sotfs) > DS1 > DS3
>dmc3
>worst in series
(you)
Dark souls (only counting Dark, no blood or demons in this list)
Just cause (though they are all fun)
ICO games
Spyro the dragon
There are some examples in this list that aren't "problems".
>Every attack in the game had at least a 1/256 chance of missing
>If you stat up too high your stats would roll over into low numbers
>If you use the move substitute with 25% HP, you kill yourself
>Rage
>Disable
All of these are scrub filters and should be removed from the list.
that would be 3>2>1>4
Namco X Capcom
funny joke
Zero Escape for sure.
