I have over 300 hours in Left 4 Dead 2, 99 percent of which is in single player.
I like the Souls franchise, but I got around 3 hours into Bloodborne and gave it up because it bored me.

same glad I only spent $10 on it
I have 2k hours in dota 2 and Tf2 and have spent more money than I ever should have on hats
I have over 150 hours on Lucio and 77% WR as him this season
I bought a motorcycle because of persona 4
I also pledged 500 big bux for mighty no 9 still missing backer rewards
I honestly don't give a shit about redditors coming here, I can't tell the difference between them and the average Sup Forums user anyway
I only bought mighty no. 9 for the free poster and it was a cheap game to add to my current gen collection.
The Last of Us is my favorite game followed by Half-Life 2 and Ocarina of Time. I also think HL2 is far, far better than 1
I've played through Human Revolution five or six times. I played the tutorial level of the original and dropped it because it seemed like a slog to get through
I love Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, but can’t stand any other game in the Zelda series. Twilight Princess is alright, though
I played through DMC1 once and disliked it despite playing through 3 and 4 countless times.
I’ve purchased and thoroughly enjoyed every game in the God of War franchise
I pretty much exclusively play Mercy/Lucio and mute team/voice chat in Overwatch because it's the only role I'm good at and getting berated by my teammates when I fuck up damages my ego. I shit on my team if they fuck up, though, and I managed to make it to Master ran the past three seasons
The only RE games I've played are 4, 5, 6, and 7 and I have no intention of playing any of the older games
I used SAM to get a bunch of achievements in MGR and DMC4 to make people think I was good at the game
Given the opportunity, I will play as a chick. I played the entirety of MGSV as an S++ female solider and made most of my soldiers women thanks to Cheat Engine.
I played through FEAR 2 three times but gave on the first one after 2 hours
Never played a Final Fantasy, Witcher, Hitman, Tomb Raider, Crash, Spyro, or Diablo game.
I watch Oney Plays, Super Mega, and sometimes Game Grumps.
I write shipping fanfiction
I cheat all the time in online multiplayer games. I get destroyed if I don’t have it and deny like hell if anyone calls me out. I pubstomped in TF2 for years with LMAOBox and would send all the items I got from that account to my main account
I played through Batman Arkham City twelve times over the course of two month
I always use controller on PC if it's supported
even if it's a fps
Games with different playable alien or beast races, I always pick human. I like to pretend I'm actually in the game
I haven't beaten a game in years.
>Games with different playable alien or beast races, I always pick human
I do this too.
DayZ is my favorite game, ever.
And it's more bug-free than GTA V.
Sup Forums turned me into a gay furry
You guys are the worst.
>mfw I've tricked myself into believing I can still make this board less fucking shit
I stop doing whatever I am at the moment just to tell normalfags and ledditors to fuck off. If I knew how to code I'd have already created a barneyfag-esque app to track those fuckers. Missing the last janitor approval period kinda mellowed me out, so if I don't make it to the next one I'm fucking off this board.
I like video games
From this gen especially
Been playing Pokemon seriously since Gen 4. I go to Toy'R'Us and EBGames for every Event Item and Pokemon released. Learned about egg moves, IV breeding, shiny breeding, soft reseting for possible shiny Legendaries and spend ungodly amount of time getting the perfect Pokemon. Played almost 600+ hours in most versions I have.
I have 560+ hours in Borderlands 2 despite hating it with a passion.
I once let a twink who was really good at sounding like a loli call me daddy over Discord for two years, until I found out that he wasn't being ironic and actually wanted a dom/sub relationship.
I enjoy playing Nioh
Finished Pokemon Gold for the first time today. I didn't feel like grinding my Pokemon to fight Red (my strongest Pokemon were a level 50 Feraligator and Ampharos, lowest was a level 43 Weepinbell) so I caught the level 70 Lugia and used it to beat his Espeon and Charizard. I kind of felt like I was cheating.
TEW is my favorite game of the past 5 years
I used to pirate video games
and I never seeded
I'm in a fraternity and I'm very popular at my uni.
Sometimes when I get a free weekend I download the most obscure h-games I can find, even on the Japanese dl site. I can't read them, but I can fap to them. Nobody except you guys will know this secret. I deleted them all a month ago since I felt bad for having so many h-games
>I pirate everything possible except Vita games
>If a game is on PC and Vita, I buy the Vita version. If a Vita game is localized to PC only, I pirate the PC version. Everything else just gets pirated
I can get you being bored with bloodborne. I went in blind and platinumed it in 10 days, but I regret the time spent with it. Its the reddit/millenial idea of what a hardcore game is. Holds your hand the whole way.
>final fantasy 13 is in my top 5 final fantasy games
>dragon age 2 is in my top 5 WRPG games
>DmC is in my top 5 action games
>I play phone games more than I do console or PC games
>Sup Forums's opinion of a game can change my own opinion of that game
>traps aren't gay and it's healthy to find them attractive since you're attracted to the women part and not the guy part
Im a pretty famous celebrity (Id argue mid B list range), but ive come here for years
Can you name some works you've been in or would that give away your identity too easily?
I only just started playing about a month ago, but I'm only an Ultra-Bronze in SFV and I fucking hate it.
i only bought grand theft auto 4 and its expansion packs so i could strip all the adverts, music, dj spots out of it and give myself hours of things to listen to on my work commute
same for gta5
same for saints row
same for portal
I hate playing vidya with my brothers. All they ever fucking play are shitty sports games and cod
>I never finished red dead redemption because I knew the ending and wanted john to stay on the farm with his family forever
>I will always be a consolefag at heart
>I cant get into magic or parallel dimension type games, they need to be based in some kind of reality or else It feels cheap
>I also cant get into sports games and have no idea why they are so popular
>I have several ideas for video games (dont we all) but its mostly fanfiction of existing games, sequels of existing games Ii couldnt license, or a pretty close ripoff of an existing game
>I have more fun with "normie" games we all hate, like the the last of us, mass effect or even COD then I do anything indie
>hypocritically, I think indie games are the way of the future and have better ideas
>8 bit games are fucking cancer and made for hipsters, theres nothing vintage about them
>video games are becoming less fun for me and im scared, because its one of my favorite hobbies and I dont want to grow up from it
I like the Retro DKCs more than the Rare ones
even DKC2
I want to, but ive seen what this place can do and id rather not risk it.
>inb4 fake gtfo
I dont care, still not gonna do it. I can, however, share some gossip (or at least what I know), my opinions on things and people ive met
I despise you and everything you and your ilk have done to my hobbies.
>LOOK AT THIS TEAM, WE'RE GONNA DO GREAT
>LUCI-OH'S
>FEEL THE HEALING BEAT
I love Lucio so much. He reminds me of an overly motivating fitness instructor that never gives up on you.
I managed to get a few of the boys to play EDF with me, I consider that an accomplishment, but you're right.
h-games aren't a hobby m8
>never played a witcher or hitman game
play them, for the witcher start with 3 then work your way down, if your playing hitman start with blood money, then HITMAN2017, then absolution[not as good, but its okay] then contracts
>Maining the girlfriend character who cant fuck up if youre not genuinely retarded
Let me guess, you hate responsibilities and have slight social anxiety
Dont lie to me, it's impossible to have fun with this character unless you're so afraid of public failure you can't play anything else.
Shit, get on my level. I have played 5000 hours of animal crossing: new leaf. 10,000 between cs 1.6 and GO. And 1000 hours split between dkcr and tropical freeze.
At this point I don't want to know how much time in all has been spent playing games.
>It's impossible to have fun with this character
Nigger run Lucio on Ilios and go flank with speed boost and boop Tanks and other characters into the whole in the middle, then Amp it Up to dip out, its the most fun shit ever
fake gtfo
I'm too much of a wimp to pirate vidya.
I'm also an achievement whore, so even if I wanted to, I'd miss out on the achievements.
You talking about new games made to look 8 bit, or all 8 bit games in general?
I had to spend $2000 on microtransactions to learn my lesson. Now I don't play anything with that shit.
Original Diablo's one of my favorite games ever, but I never beat the harder difficulties. Same goes for Diablo II.
Never ever ever got Rathalos or Rathian Plates in the original Monster Hunter. Cheated with some Max Replay shit or whatever to try all the armor. Made a new character after. Spent that entire game making new characters, actually, but that's the one time I cheated.
Played StarCraft: Brood War for a fucking decade. Finally beat the original's singleplayer five years ago. Never did beat Brood War's singleplayer.
I've restarted Dragon Age: Origins at least six dozen times. Never beat it. Haven't even seen the last half of the game. Must've bought the game half a dozen times. Same goes for Dragon Age II. I used to have some hardcore video game OCD shit going on.
>I'm too much of a wimp to pirate vidya.
Are you fucking kidding me or are you a 1st worlder afraid of getting caught and too lazy to get a VPN?
tbf I usually do the Ross Scott method when I do stuff.
The only exception to that is Far Sky (the discount subnautica game before subnautica was a thing). The bases and enviroment are comfy but the game is so short and lowquality.
I unironically prefer DaS2 over DaS and DeS
My nigga.
If you didn't beat AKUMU, you're a bitch.
Seriously, though. I fucking love you.
I love the AssCreed and BamHam games.
I somehow can't get into Shadow of Mordor at all.
I've spent around 7 to 8 years trying to play fighting games and getting good at them. Some times i would play them daily and all day long but i never got at a competent level during all these years. I regret getting into the genre and spending so much time into it. I just realized it yesterday after loosing badly and getting extremely salty. Worst part is that i tried every piece of advice, watched every video, practiced every hour, watched every replay and i still suck at literally every fighting game i ever touched.
Borderlands The pre-sequel is in my opinion the best borderlands game. It doesn't have the same amount of content as BL2 but the jet packs were a great addition together with the ice element and skill tress that don't take at least 10 levels to start making a difference.
The only souls game i truly like is Demon souls. I tried bloodbourne not too long ago and it bored me to death.
90% of my PS4 games are downloadable games only.
I can't play horrors games because i really fucking hate being startled, the last horror game i played was the original Dead Space and only because i could power trough most enemies.
I am right now trying to platinum Darksider 2 just to get my mind of the fact i might lose my Job due to lack of funds from the company i currently work, worst part is that i suck at everything else i ever tried and I'm not sure on what kind of job i should pursue now.
both, but I do have a softer spot for original 8 bit games. Its the ones made today that seem too forced
I exploited the angler system to get the 200 fishing quests completed on terraria
I have the most hours in a game made in 199
it's a first person shooter
I probably have over 9000 hours in said game
hint, it was on the Dreamcast
1999*
>Sup Forums's opinion of a game can change my own opinion of that game
This is your greatest sin.
I've 100%'d it. Game was fun the whole way through.
I have written an erotic Overwatch fanfiction
i only play assfaggots and p2w phone games
Uh, dude. Make a thread and share that shit.
I unironically think the Battlefield games, including the new ones, are all really solid and fun shooters
Ace Combat has the best soundtracks in the entire industry
I never got the past the first level of SM64 as a kid because I was scared of the giant bob-omb guy
This also
>I've spent around 7 to 8 years trying to play fighting games and getting good at them. I'm just now getting into the genre but I'm so fucking afraid of this being me. When I go online, yeah I'm bad, but I do get my share of victories. I feel like I'm improving but I'm also afraid that I'll hit my peak soon. I don't see myself getting above maybe Gold in SFV at all, although I'd like to be proven wrong.
Can you at least give us a hint (movie star/tv star/musician) etc?
sf5 is more about decision making than actual practice, most of the combos are prett simple. Trying to play other fighters is way harder though. You better stick with SF5, it is not like the other games have people to play them anyways.
I don't get this mentality, I was in a frat and was basically a chad in university too. Still played video games and shit, just don't be a shit eating socially retarded faggot and people will like you. If anything, I'm sickened that people like you exist and give playing games that socially awkward autistic stereotype.
Well I'm using SFV as a sort of gateway into other fighting games. I know it's a controversial title and all, but I think it's a great game to play if you're just getting into the genre like I am.
I'm afraid that I'm never going to git gud. I just want to at least start going to locals and do alright. I don't think I'm ever going to be god-tier but I want to be satisfied with my level of skill and do impressive stuff.
I barely enjoy games anymore. The only games I enjoy now are the ones I play with my friends, even though most of them are shit-tier flavor of the month.
The first single player game I've enjoyed in a long while was Nier Automata, and it's the only game ever that I've gotten every achievement (or trophy if you prefer) in and got 100% completion in.
I beat Bloodborne but almost gave up on it like 5 times due to boredom. It lacked any of the memorable moments, locations, bosses and enemies that Dark Souls and Demon's Souls had. The game started to feel really repetitive at about the half way point, mostly because the vast majority of enemies/bosses could be beaten by waiting for them to do a heavy attack, getting a few hits in and then dodge. Also, even though I didn't find it that difficult, it's the only game I've ever played that's made me punch a hole in my wall. I don't even remember exactly what made me do it, I just remember I was fighting an enemy with an instakill attack that really fucking pissed me off.
I have around 500+ hours in TF2, and maybe 50 of those hours are in actual games. The other 450 are in modded game modes like prop hunt and Saxton Hale.
I've probably spent at least 200 hours playing the Sims 3. It's easily one of my most played games and I don't even like it that much.
I literally cannot play a game made before the fifth generation of consoles for more than 30 minutes before stopping due to boredom or frustration. Call me casual or whatever, but they're too simplistic for enjoyment and I have no nostalgia for them because I grew up with the N64 and PS2.
I had an extremely hard time beating Roark in Pokemon Diamond. I released piplup and the rest of my team were birds and bugs.
I played every single CSI game on existance, even the ones before Telltale and enjoyed all of them, I want more Telltale, ditch your current shit
For whatever reason I always drop playing Pokémon in the first game of the gen half way and the continue in the third version, with me barely touching Gen 6 since there is no third version
I continually believe that every Ace Attorney is better than the last game, hell I thought Apollo Justice was the best game in the series at one point
Bayonetta is overrated, Wonderful 101 is the game Platinum should be more famous for in terms of their own IP's
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is probably the only RTS I'll actually play fully, last thing I can remember was playing Codename STEAM Demo but never bought the full game
Ignoring Rare, Fable is the only series from Microsoft i actually like
Sly Cooper 3 is the best game in the series, I don't get the shitposting about the team members, those were Fucking awesome
just stick with sf5 for as long as you can and ignore all other games honestly. playing too many games at a time
I came on my vita screen to one of those ecchi anime games
>he plays the same kind of lucio shitty players use
>not playing the superior lucio
Do you even wall ride? Be honest.
I also want to git gud at Smash and Pokken. I know I should just stick to one game but I really enjoy those games as well and feel like I have a lot of potential there.
I have over 200+ hours in NBA 2k 15 and 100+ in 2k16
i like FFXIII
Odd, I was just listening to this:
youtube.com
I actually haven't even gotten to that part of the game yet. I'm not really a fan of FF but I did like what little I played of it. If you ignore the autobattle function, the combat's actually really good.
Of the last 20 or so game purchases i've made, my dick has had a big say in it, (ie cute girls)
haven't regretted it yet
find a different hobby user
Awakening and Fates aren't half bad and both have really good OSTS, fun (if broken in Awakening) mechanics and characters
I don't like GBA FE or Archanea that much
Radiant Dawn was way more fun than PoR
I think Smash 4 has a great, practically perfect roster
I never beat the first Ghirahim fight in SS because I couldnt get used to the controls
skyrim was fun
I am married with children at 28
I still go on Sup Forums, because I am fond of immature and offensive humour
discord has existed for two years?
>I deleted them all a month ago since I felt bad for having so many h-games
this is the only reprehensible part. i hope you at least have a record of what they were.
i want to hear you shit on other celebrities.
I like japanese games
Add me on steam >bloodboy777
I really don't like Dark Souls
I wasted 3 years on LoL
I kind of suck at aiming in FPS, my K/D in BF4 is 0.7 (but still manage to be in the top 10 of my team almost all the time because I play the objectives)
>and I never seeded
bloodboy777
Achievements have killed my joy for many games I've played, simply by existing. I don't know how to explain it, but it feels like I have to completely go out of my way to do the achievements in the back of my head. If I have gotten halfway through a game and find out I missed something ages ago, it kills my desire to finish a game. Worse are the ones like the steam version of FFIX's "Fight 10,000 battles" achievement, because I can't see myself getting that unless I artistically grind. I know SAM is a thing, but it still feels like a copout.
I also can't speedrun games. I love taking my time and enjoying a game for what it is, and it's really hard to force myself to rush through everything.
I still play on a membrane keyboard.
I have 2 extra video cards, a spare 500W power supply, 3 ATX Cases, 2 Logitech Keyboards, 2 headsets, 1 mobo/CPU/4GB RAM, 5 monitors, and 3 TB HDDs that I don't use and keep just in case I need them because I'm worried a part will fail even though I've never had a part fail in the 10+ years I've been PC Gaming (due to upgrading)... Except for 2 SSDs that died. I'll never buy an SSD without 3 redundancies ever again, so I'm not buying any for a long time until they're cheaper.
eSports is a cancer upon the community and needs to die
Mah man
>lookin gud
I can't play games older than 5th gen (N64, PS1 and such) aside from some classics like Sonic or Mario. They just suck.
I played the MGS games in chronological order, and only the Big Boss games.
I wasted 4-5 years playing LoL and I never enjoyed it
The only Zelda game I like is Majora's Mask.
I enjoy playing fighting games casually, I never get good at them.
I love the Souls franchise... But I only played DS3... And I pirated it... And I never actually got past the tutorial level.
I also want to secretly buy CoD:IW
I cheated in Payday 2.
