>>MUST BUY...NO!
>Super Meat Boy, crap virgin game
>VVVVVV, shit phone game
>Human Revolution, old crapgame
>Alien Isolation, old crapgame
>Arkham Franchise (all of it) just the last one was good
>>Buyer's Remorse
>N++ controls like complete fucking shit. Avoid like the plague. To The Moon had writing way too mediocre to recommend.
>>Hidden Gems
>Might not count but I quite enjoyed SOMA. Only 9 hours long and the horror segments were boring but I had fun.

only indie shit go die faggot

so? mod games are for nerds anyway

Besides that, online is a fucking grind fest and not fun at all unless you have money.

>unironically saying "indieshit"
>unironically saying "crapgame"
>unironically saying "virgin game"
>unironically calling a three year old game old
>unironically calling VVVVVV a phone game

Have fun in your pit of feces and salt. I'll be playing all my games!

Struggling here lads. Got about £7.60 left in my steam wallet but can't find anything decent around that price point. Tempted to just fill up on cheap stuff like hotline miami / l4d2 / portal 2.

Which one?

Looking for a game similar to jedi academy and jedi outcast. Mostly in terms of level design and combat. Steam doesnt have that star trek game made by the same company unfortunately

Anyone wanna trade summersale cards? I only need one more to make the badge, the camp one and I have no more drops left.

sent ;)

>human revolution
>old
are you 12 or just fucking retarded

Did you curate this? Thanks. I'm grabbing a few from the list right now.
Hotline Miami and Portal (get both if you haven't played the first) are both great games, even at their original price point. L4D2 has grown more stale with age as everyone playing it knows where literally every spawn is, and the community just isn't there anymore.

Considering Darkest Dungeon.

Also not sure about stardew valley. It sounds like too much of a time sink and I have Uni classes starting up again soon.

Opinions?

i think i did well with this sale

Should I just buy MGR now, and wait to see if Bayonetta gets cheaper in the next sale?

rogue legacy will last the longest, hotline 2 is the most fun, broforce is fun with friends, and portal is just good

The greatest 2D Games With Guns on Steam

By the author of Cave Story comes a beautifully linear hyper-focused champion of jump and shoot.
>store.steampowered.com/app/292500/Kero_Blaster/
(note: Cave Story is also very great but it is strongly recommended you play the superior original freeware version)

A faithful remake of the classic with the most enthralling movement mechanics the NES ever saw.
>store.steampowered.com/app/21680/Bionic_Commando_Rearmed/

The best of the series: Deep and hilariously fun turn based multiplayer.
>store.steampowered.com/app/217200/Worms_Armageddon/

The Alpha and the Omega of 2D shooting
>store.steampowered.com/app/253750/Ikaruga

From 1991, a monumental achievement whose influence is still strong. It did "cinematic platformer" first and it's done it best.
>store.steampowered.com/app/233550/Another_World__20th_Anniversary_Edition/

>Did you curate this? Thanks. I'm grabbing a few from the list right now.

Thanks brah. I like all of them.

>and the community just isn't there anymore.

Which is odd since it's at 20k players right now, but Versus still feels empty

Thinking of getting banner saga deluxe pack for $15. Anyone got an opinion on these games?

Maybe Dark Messiah? I feel like Outcast/Academy are really defined by the quality of the melee combat, which is pretty unique, but Dark Messiah has some solid as hell combat too that's complimented well by the level design.

This is probably my favorite game I bought on the sale. Such a good game, only complaint is the lack of enemy variety, then again, I haven';t made it past the first boss yet, so that may change.

I have exactly the camping one and I can give it to you
I was too lazy to farm my last 3 cards so I bought them from the market

ah shit my tired ass forgot to paste the top part

Any reason why I should buy this over BlazBlue

TELL ME WHAT TO BUY

Should I, v?

>owns huniepop
>still feels the need to cover game titles
the fuck kind of faggot are you

Reminder that your summer sale trading cards will expire tomorrow - so either sell them or turn them into gems or badge em

What should I get for the 4th that is AMERICA theme? I was thinking either
Medal of Honor reboot
or Homefront
yes I know both of these are mediocre shooters

>Doesn't want a time sink
>Considers Darkest Dungeon but is unsure about Stardew Valley
W e w

good games under $5?

it was to hide the games i owned before the steam sale deadass

rec me a dungeon crawler, i already have darkest dungeon

isaac is shit

>sort by release date
>start at page 430
>good games
>good games
>notice the release date rapidly getting closer to today
>hit page 320
>now roughly 2014
>shit games
>shit games as far as the eye can see

jesus christ WHY. how did it get shit SO FAST

Are the music files for hotline miami 2 in ogg files in the game dirs like they were in the first game? I don't want to have to buy the separate soundtrack for them.

Sunless Sea is the only Steam game I've ever returned. I own about 300 games.

It's a plodding, slow ordeal that feels like a Flash game. Virtually every in-game system (sailing, food, combat, exploration) is fundamentally broken in completely obvious ways. The "story" also assumes you're familiar with some fanfic project I've never heard about ("Old London" or some shit). It's a goddamn disaster.

steamcommunity.com/id/teh_pwnagener
Now that would be helpful!

10/10, couldn't have chosen any better

on an anonymous board
owns cringeworthy games
somehow thinks censoring game from that list is relevant

>autismus maximus

gonna be honest, ditch trine, even at that price. it seemed way to basic for me.

also I see you missed a few humble bundles.

my haul

Shadow of Mordor
GTA 5
Transistor
Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics
Killer is Dead

Unreal bundle on Gamersgate

>The Alpha and the Omega of 2D shooting

No. That would be DoDonPachi Dai Oujou. Or perhaps Radiant Silvergun. Ikaruga is Reddit-tier meme shit.

I played it back when it was first released for Dreamcast. Nobody in the shmup community took it seriously. It's totally trivial to 1cc, the challenge is scoring chains in creative ways. It's more of a puzzle game than a shmup.

GOT 1 EURO 30 CENTS IN STEAMWALLET ALREADY BOUGHT PSYCHONAUTS

WAT BUY

Necrovision

do i buy, do i not? fucking analysis paralysis

>Dust
Only if you're okay with a bargain-bin Muramasa with bad furry art.

Is mekazoo any good?

>Trine 2
Good if you have two friends or one. really entertaining friend that would make up for the annoyance of having three characters for two people
>Middle-Earth
For 4 euros, probably the best deal on steam right now
>Dust
Furry garbage with boring gameplay
>Trine
I'd get just 2 and if you really liked that one then cop the first one
>Brothers
3 hours, but well worth the price. Neat little experience.
Rest I don't know about, but I've only heard good things about Transistor

Take-Two backpedaled, OpenIV and modding is a-go again.

Who else here bought nothing? I already got what I want at this point and 30% - 40% off off isn't that interesting. Boring sale to be honest, like every other sale.

Do I buy the sims 3? what dlc?

noone wants to miss out.. major psychological factor for sales.
be rational about what you are gonna realistically play iwthin the next 6-12 months.

Castle Crasher
Fairy Fencer F advent Dark Force

I refunded some games and now I have 8 bucks in my wallet. I'll probably get one more game before the sale ends. Here are the contenders:
store.steampowered.com/app/428550 (Momodora 4)
store.steampowered.com/app/289130 (Endless Legend)
store.steampowered.com/app/588650 (Dead Cells)
store.steampowered.com/app/268500 (X-Com 2)
Note: I really like the look of Dead Cells, but the Early Access makes me worried, even if I heard good things about its current state. I only played Enemy Unkown once, so I probably can hold off and get more playtime before I move on to 2.

You should expand your horizons. Try something new and I'm sure you'll find something worth it.

On that note, I'm open to trying out one of those disgusting weeb games. Are there any good ones on Steam for someone who doesn't like weeb games?

I need someone to trade me cards. I need 1 picnic and 1 boardwalk

Save your money, get Endless Space 2. Now that Civ VI is an embarrassment it's the number 1 4X.

Well Sup Forums?

it's looks good but at only 15% and >early access
with only 2 bosses i want to wait for it to be finished

Pirate Hitman 1-4

Don't buy Absolution or EYE

How weeby are you wanting to go?

Full Weeb:
>Neptunia VII
>Senran Kagura

Partial Weeb:
>Killer is Dead
>Metal Gear Revengance

Is This Really Even Weeb?
>Valkyria Chronicles
>Stranger of Sword City
>Dargon's Dogma

Let me pose to you a question in return:
What about Western games? Any Western games worth a shit from the past 5 years?

I'm unsure of if stellaris is worth it, but I've heard good things about the other two.

Please, is it good?

Remove Absolution.

Deus Ex HR or Grim fandango?
already played HR before

Valkyria at the very least earns itself a Partial Weeb

I disagree: 95% of it I would argue no. 95% of it is basically WW1 with magic mixed in.

5% of it isn't really enough to justify putting it into Partial Weeb.

Bought these. Played a little bit of Consortium and so far it seems promising. Certainly hope it keeps at it.

I've been thinking about getting Zeno Clash 2, XCOM 2 and Distance, although I doubt the latter will ever get a proper release so it seems like a waste. Which is too bad since Nitronic Rush was a 11/10 and I am going to go play it right now.

It's not even on sale and people are saying it's lacking content and has a lot of bugs they're working on. I think I'll wait till christmas.

Which is what makes it the best shmup, m8. If you want ebin endless difficulty go play a touhou fangame

>Implying you don't buy the game for the wisecracking nimbat Fidget and for Fidget alone
It's like you're retarded or something. Well worth the sale price.

>Zeno Clash 2

Terrible. One of the lousiest games

Whats wrong with Absolution?

100% Orange Juice
Fortune Summoners
Human Tanks series
One Way Heroics
Rabi Ribi
Recettear

I recommend pirating Stellaris to try it out before you pay that much for it

Would I enjoy Planet Coaster if I liked Theme Park World on the PS1 or what it was? Anyone remember that?

This is my summary of purchases. Recommend me a last game based on my taste for the final day.

Grim Fandango is not worth the money. Pirate the GOG version and send a dick pic to Shafer, that fucking con.

Seriously literally the only game I've ever bought where I felt proper buyers remorse. It's nothing more than the original game in higher resolution with a mod to make the controllers less funky.

How Western are you willing to go?

Full Western:
>Prey
>Rainbow Six Siege
>Wolfenstein
>XCOM 2

Partial Western:
>Metro Franchise
>Witcher 3
>Endless Space 2

Is This Really Even Western?
>Lethal League
>Spelunky
>LISA the Painful

I'm gonna keep shilling ES2 and tell you that ES2 is better than Stellaris

Shadowrun?

underrail

Aight. Thanks for saving me 2 bux.

Name another 2 dollar game and I'll buy it

How is Metro not western as fuck

>Shadowrun?

I have three of them and I hate Shadowrun because it is so linear that it feels like a fps intead of rpg.

>buy games for people
>"haha yeah i got it bro"
>has been sitting in my inventory while they play other shit

I'm just gonna refund these games. fuck people who do this shit

I want to buy a city sim, is City Skylines the best on the market or should I buy something else? Is the Skylines DLC worth it? I always loved destroying shit back in Sim City 3000 with natural disasters and aliens and shit, but apparently stuff like that is DLC in Skylines.

I didn't know it was on GOG, thanks for saving my pocket change

is Risk of Rain any good? I got $4 left in my steam wallet and I'm torn between getting Risk of Rain or Knytt Underground

Alpha Protocol

Refunct. I can tell you're a cheap fuck.

Opinions?

I can spend money. I just don't know what to get
