The "game" you can buy on steam is just basically getting some items for money to support the dev, you should try out the game first

The model is fucking confusing and the website does a terrible job at explaining what the fuck you actually get with the steam release vs the freeware

Never open a locked door before checking what's on the other side. All characters can unlock the track ability, so I recommend taking that next time you get a thief escort.

Just to be clear the game is definitely worth the 10 bucks or whatever the full pack costs, I just wanted to make sure you don't waste money on a freeware game that you can try out first

10 bucks are definitely worth it as you get hundreds of hours game play. it's the only roguelike I really enjoy as the depth is compared to other roguelikes really deep.
