Just got Plat for Crash 1 10 minutes ago getting Plat for all 3 Crash games now. Game was challenging, but overall easy and enjoyable. Every stage was only 1-3 minutes long of trial and error shit. It's challenging, but fair and overall a very simple game. The people crying about the difficulty got me a little worried about getting Plat for Crash 1, since I never played it, but it wasn't as bad as the babbies make it seem.

Crash 1 was obviously a mix of Mario and Sonic and Sony's response to those franchises. Crash 1 is a simple and challenging platformer while Crash 2 and 3 made Crash into his own character and made the game more enjoyable.

A new game with the gameplay of 2 and 3 but with the difficulty of 1 would probably be great.
