Why are the bosses so bad?
Why are the bosses so bad?
wooooow dude soo stoopid
*blocks your path*
Why is there an elevator inside of a windmill that leads up to castle sinking in lava??
the game overall is less inspired than DS1, but far more atmospheric imo
inb4 hbombercunt shows up.
Bee Team
*lights sword on fire*
git gud scrub, i just killed flexile sentry on my first fucking try
They're not bad because they're hard, they're bad because they're easy.
Why is there a hole in the floor that leads to a whole new underground area with its own sky and sun?
No they're bad because they're so many of them and some of them are just speedbumps, not memorable experiences. I mean no one remembers the skeleton lords, jabba the hut or those dude in the church
I do.
T-time is c-c-convoluted g-g-guys
This is bait but I'm gonna bite anyways.
The only way to reach the Kiln is by first entering through Firelink Altar, which you reach by climbing into the mouth of a giant primordial serpent and warping to who knows where, but considering Kaathe takes you there directly from the abyss it's not likely a place found on any map.
Then, once you open the door to the kiln, you step through a white gateway and walk down past ethereal black knights to reach the kiln itself, which is the birthplace of life and the world itself.
Being teleported by a magic snake and then waking through a portal is not the same as literally taking a goddamn elevator.
I fucking hate DS2 apologists
>implying the HV elevator wasn't magic
I still remember when somebody on Sup Forums defended royal rat vanguard as a good boss
B-team. It's a fan fiction game without miyazaki directing
If you jump down Frampt's hole you reach the altar. You're right about everything else though. Classic deflection of DaS2 complaints to fairly logically consistent things in DaS1.
I'm going to get some shit for saying this but does anyone else think that the bosses in the last Dark Souls 3 dlc are too hard.
Hear me out, I'm playing through the last dlc currently on ng+++ and I'm having a fun time banging my head against Gael, but after I win I'm never going to want to do this boss fight again.
When I replay a Souls game I usually pick up all the items and beat all the bosses (maybe a little bit obsessive compulsive but it's how I like to play the games). But even after beating Gael I don't see him becoming any easier the second time around. Unless I summon, he is still going to be a pain to fight and I really just like to relax when replaying games. I've platinumed all the Souls games (& Bloodborne) and I've never felt like this while playing the series before.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm curious if it isn't just me.
Because the game has some of the worst hitboxes of any video game.
I did the dlc on ng+++ as well and I'm sure that's why the dlc bosses seem so much more difficult compared to the base game.
Getting 1 shot by Midir repeatedly was not fun though and led to hours of death before finally killing him, and I will never do that fight again.
>ok guys, time to make our spider boss, how are we gonna give it that cool dark souls feel?
>"VERY BIG"
>okay but this is dark souls TWO, so what else can we push here
>"DHUHH UHHHHH, TWO HEADS"
>great, and for its special move?
>"SPIDER LASER"
>brilliant, brilliant, but how can we be sure the player will "GET READY TO LOSE THEIR SOULS OVER AND OVER(tm)(c)"?
>"HGHHHHGGGHHH... MANY ENEMY"
>brilliant johnson-san, you're our golden goose, somebody get this man a raise!
