Any shitter can play decent at Tetris. You only really need to be good for Puyo Puyo and even then you can kind of bullshit it by stacking walls of Puyo's on the side and hoping for the best.

As a puyo fag I disagree. Tetris does require practice for you to actually be a threat to other players. The average tetris shitter plays so slowly that all of their attacks do nothing to you.

Yes, as an introduction to Puyo's gameplay, since most of the best modes of Puyo are not present and you can play Tetris to offset how bad you probably are at Puyo. Unfortunately, The story of PPT expects you to know everything about Puyo's characters already, so some jokes are gonna fly right over your head.
