they need to add a free for all mode where you can respawn

Isn't that what every person in every TPS does?

People in Gears did it.
GTA as well.
Battlefront.
Etc...

They need to add a lot of fucking things. A shooting range so I can attempt to get some kind of handle on how to hit targets that are further than a building's length away from me would be a nice start.

git gud

I don't know how much bullet drop there is with each weapon over what distance. I might as well just randomly fire in someone's direction when it comes to mid or long distance shootouts.

Bullet drop is pretty minimal unless you're shooting really long range. Leading the bullet is what's tough.

but there is a shooting range to the northwest user

This is specifically for cars, but it will help with everything

That's what would be nice about a shooting range option. It takes so long to actually get into these kinds of situations in matches, and they're over so quick that I never actually get any chance to practice.

It takes no skill because over 50% of the players are probably under 60fps, honestly 30 if they're lucky

It really stimulates my central nervous system that this game is supposed to be some esports PVP game but it has 3rd person. What did they mean by this?

Is it? I thought it was just a streamer game. The surge of popularity probably does come from the fact that money was added to H1Z1

Well I don't know, I haven't played it but that's what it looks like. If it was 1st person I might consider getting it but with 3rd person it's a complete joke to me.

How to tell someone didn't play gears 101:
>they actually think anyone hid behind a cover

What is people's issue with this. Everyone has it. It changes the basic dynamic of the game but not necessarily for the worse. Think how much WORSE camping would be if you didn't have a broad field of vision and players were obsessed with getting into positions that afforded them good eyelines.

Restricting it to first person only would compound the very problems people have with third person already.

Takes skill to react and bait people out of potential hiding spots.

>not knowing how to play 3rd person shooters
it's what happens when kids don't have a Socom in their generation

Literally no one thinks it's an esport game.

Yeah, it's basically camp to win the game

Camp to get one by a kar98 the game. If you stand still, you die. Why do you think people wiggle when they loot?

What do you mean how much worse camping would be, all 3rd person is is camping until the other guy peaks and prefiring leading to a camping stalemate because both of you can see the other guy's hiding spot with 3rd person. In 3rd person all the information you get is risk free which encourages camping. In 1st person you can't have free information so you have to peak. Imagine how retarded something like CSGO or R6 Siege would be with 3rd person.

I laugh at everyone who gets mad at a video game that is trying (and succeeding at) something new. The arguments boil down to either "this OTHER game does first person" or "I DONT LIKE IT". Both of these ignore the giant player base. If the majority of people didn't like third person, then they wouldn't be playing the game.

>all these kids who don't know how to play 3rd person games

Jeez, first person shooters are about camping head glitches, which is just a utilization of cover, 3rd person is about identifying the nearest cover and keeping eyes on horizon in relation to your next cover. In tighter quarters it's the same thing.

Lol it's not even difficult unless you're just generally bad at competitive problem solving.

The game that taught you how to strategically play 3rd person. The best games featured on Arena imho.

>Refunded but will buy if they put up 1st person only servers.
They said they will do that in the future.

Also who the hell buys a third person game if they don't like third person games. Jesus christ.
It's not unfair either way since everyone has the same ability to abuse the system. You still need to peek to shoot.
