How the fuck did Majora's Mask get away with an E rating? I know alot of the dark things that happened were kinda suddle, but that doesn't mean they didn't happen.

because you play as a cartoon elf who fights goofy eyeball monsters

Heeeey, yo.

>suddle

>E Rating.
Bullshit, that fucking mummy dad was horrible.

>suddle
Am I being doofed here? Was op trying to be subtle himself?

probably a little kid using his mom's computer.

op is 15 years old, tops. likely younger.

underage

Suddle bait

Op will claim he's fooling

...

>ESRB mattering ever

...

I'm actually a professional (You) collecter. Thank you for adding to my collection. An excellent jape if I do say so myself.

...

>suddle

...

I walked in on my sister and her friend watching the scene, it stuck with me for months

...

>Cremia getting Romani shitfaced drunk so she doesn't know she's about to die
I don't know how it got away with an E rating either.

...

this thread got really gay really fast

10/10 there op.

>suddle

>I walked in on my sister and her friend
Knock user

>zelda thread devolves into a bunch of shota fags posting young link
like clockwork

"Nintendo is for kids"

not a bunch, just one user

yeah and I remember when flashing boobs and men attempting to rape a women in a movie could get a pg 13. times change guy

how did bowser's inside story get an E rating?

I don't know but I'm glad I didn't pay this until I was like 12, I would have been terrified if I was much younger. Even the redeads in OoT were too scary for me.

...

>suddle

...

...

>some crafty degenerate at Nintendo got away with this

>suddle

>suddle

Not suddle enough, apparently.

...

You were lucky man

Them mask transformations were pure nightmare fuel

Also the alien night from Romani ranch gave me an extreme irrational fear of aliens

Majora's Mask is the best Zelda because it has the most handsome protagonist.

>suddle

Are you even trying?

>transformations were nightmare fuel
Especially the Zora one.

So before this thread goes down in flames from a OPs orthographic ineptitude or gay link image dump wanna ask
What was your favorite part of the game and why??

>suddle

Getting grabbed by redeads haha

can't deny that the fangs plus the lack of eyes was quite nightmarish but if I had to say which face would I see before waking up covered in sweat it would have to be >pic related

I just find that the teeth makes it more grotesque for me

>Suddle

The alien invasion

Plot twist: he's casting Dia in that gif

I always found unnerving how they all gather and around the corpse whenever you killed one at the market; could never made up my mind if they gathered to eat it or to mourn for it.
Can't remember if it happened in Majoras mask too but watching them dance in ikana castle was uncanny enough

Everything. I'm at work so i don't have the time to go in depth explanation on it, but it's one of the best games ive ever played.

E10 didn't exist at the time; and most of the dark elements of the game are more subtle, atmospheric things rather then explict, specific elements that would get it a T rating.

Looking back, to put a literal cliche alien abducting cows quest in the game was pretty out of place for that game. Yet I had to give em props for making it the most panic-attack inducing shit in the game

Also extra points for aliens mind raping your waifu if you failed

>misspelling suttle

>your waifu
That is not my waifu

he's also the best at flips

>Boo: Murica
>Bowser: Common sense

I agree

I believe some of the messages in the game would fly over the head of most kids under 12.

Like the first time I played it and found out the sword master hiding inside of his dojo I just thought it was funny that he ended up being a coward

Later when I revisited the game I found it a little more relatable that he faces the moon with denial and when the moment comes he is consumed with fear because he always knew he couldn't stop it

That and the part where I thought the seagulls where just there to show you where Mikau was, later understanding that probably they were already eating the poor bastard

You sure about that?
Well its the girl that the game tries to get you attached to and care for so you have more motivation to protect her

The door was open bubby

I think its interesting that they use mostly the same characters from Ocarina of Time and yet, for the most part, they have totally different stories while keeping their personality from previous games.

this desu

it's so crazy too because there is a lot of work put into that to make you just try and kill him.
Purposely putting the hostile redeads around the house.
Keeping the kid hidden and the house empty
Putting him in the basement somewhere that enemies in zelda are not super uncommon to be found.

>Redeads
They were Stalfos

has any other zelda game ever done something so out of line for the games setting other than the flatwoods aliens in MM?
I can think of some crazy things sure but nothing that doesn't feel like it doesn't belong in a zelda game.

Ikana Valley in general was pretty disturbing

oh shit you're right. my b.

No you idiot, they were Gibdos.

Gibdos, I mean.

>SUDDLE

If you set fire to the gibdos they become redeads.

I can't remember if that works in Ocarina too.

Weren't they called gibdos like the mask?
It is actually cool you can talk to them and they tell you they're circling the house cause they know there's one of them inside

Back some years not all kids were special little butthurt snowflakes.

you can suddle this dick boi.

it was just milk, brah

Hey you guys remember when skull kid forcibly ripped the soul out of a living being and placed it inside you because he thought it would be funny?
I love rated E games.

The way they describe that milk in the game is the exact same effects as alcohol, its how they get past the censors

Yes. seeI goofed

Amongst all the other "pranks" he pulled

>suddle
This just shows the number one problem of English -- the pronunciation """""rules""""".
Just think about what OP did. Yeah, he's a tard for not knowing (or merely pretending not to know) how to spell "subtle", but to be fair, the way it's pronounced would make you think it's spelled that way. This shit is what makes people type "their" or "there" instead of "they're", and "who's" instead of "whose", too.
English is definitely not the most difficult language in the world to learn, but not knowing if the pronunciation of the word fits its form makes it pretty retarded. Phonetic languages for life.

People werent fucking pussies 15 years ago. Thats how

Learning Spanish taught me how shitty English is. Everything follows specific rules, but in English every rule has as many exceptions as instances where it applies

Who has the saddest passing/death for you anons?
Mine are probably the skeleton captain who has just been waiting for his general to "dismiss" him and anju/kafei

>anju/kafei
You still have 1 minute left after completing that sidequest, more than enough time to get to the clock tower and give them a happy ending

>Implying that's not how I end the game always.
It's not beaten until at the same time circle Anju and Kafei are reunited.

I don't know man, there are so many that I'm sure I've forgotten.

A notable one for me was the soldier who got wounded while wearing the mask that makes you invisible. You meet him as he bleeds to death because none of his friends saw him because of the mask.

Does he actually die though? Like does he disappear at a certain time if you don't help him?

I honestly don't remember. Shit, I think I'm remembering this wrong.

I feel like the remake version is even more fucked. he's stuck in the gerudo lady place and is too afraid to take off the mask because they'll probably kill him.

>On one hand I fear the possibility of the nothingness after death.
>On the other hand I'd have to talk to girls.

I think I'm forgetting some too. Darmani stands out to me because of how much everyone loved him, also his Song of Healing cutscene

he vanishes after you help him, which is what happens with most restless ghosts in the game

That's what made the game so awesome. Strange shit, interesting characters and good music. The characters of new Zelda games feel so forced and barely memorable.
