For Honor died because it was a mechanical mess, and Ubisoft refused to address these issues.

Defensive meta that prevailed since the betas, latency issues everywhere and the new characters being absolutely broken to push for sales all contributed to the death of the game.

Overwatch killed what little chance of battleborne being successful

It's a less buggy chivalry with some added mechanics. It's nothing groundbreaking and will sure to remain niche as fuck. There's only a small group of people who actually give a fuck about 1st person sword fighting.

Bannerlord is going to murder Mordhau. Hell there's actually a chance Warband could kill Bannerlord depending on how the game ends up after release. It's insanely difficult to dethrone Warband. Not even Taleworlds has been successful at it.
