Who the fuck has the time to play games like this?
I dunno man, I only was able to put an hour or two into the new massive Zelda before I felt overwhelmed and dropped it. I want to play it, it felt great but I just feel like if I really try and dig in, I'm gonna be playing it for a year and miss out on other things,
Anyone else have this problem?
what game?
NEETs
Final Fantasy 13 sucks
Pick a new hobby, normie
Haven't played BotW but I got the same feeling from witcher 3.
Well it depends on your job and how bad your commute is. I worked in Toronto from a suburb, and I'd be spending an extra 2 hrs going, extra 2 coming back. Id only have time to eat while watching youtube or a show, shower, and sleep, no time for vidya. Moved to a rural area, renting 5 min away from mynew job, now have 4-5 hrs of playing vidya. Your circumstances can change.
So while I'm here, anybody know a great JRPG I can emulate?
Top 5 maybe?
>Who the fuck has the time to play games like this?
Well, there's a reason for why most of those games are aimed at teenagers with a lot of free time.
But its not like you can't find time for vidya if you're an adult unless you go full normalfag and have a gf and a considerable amount of friends.
Even if you're just wagecuck mode with no social life and friends it's still hard to find time to just play vidya and get engrossed in a game.
The Legend of Dragoon
If you are a wagecuck you have an 8 hour shift... Even if you work overtime you have plenty of time for games unless you are fat so you just eat and sleep for 14 hours after work.
Not really, I'm wagie with a few friends (we barely hang out) and no gf and I have plenty of free time for vidya.
I can't see how can you not have time for it unless you work involves heavy physical work and you return home exhausted.
The game probably won't take more than 1-2 months if you take your time.
But i can understand where you come from, whenever i start playing a Disgaea game i end up playing it every day for at least a year before getting burnt out.
I work 12 hours a day and i still have time to play at least 2 hours everyday.
Git gud.
>not finishing a 60 hour game during exam week
you don't truly love your hobby
Does not work like that for me.
When i get home i want to play some games but end up watching a movie or watch other people play stuff.

Some people actually have family and social activities as well as other interests besides video games. We can't all live your exciting lifestyle of work/game/sleep.
We were talking about an specific case where you have work but no social activities my anonymous friend
You are not the target audience, dumbass.
Well, you have time for videogames then, but decide to spend it in other things.
>preordered Persona 5
>mfw finally getting close to completion
we're all gonna make it
>unemployed
>can't find a job
>very few social expectations
at least i have time to play video games
I started realizing recently that I don't really have the drive for longer games anymore. I think 20-40 hours is the sweet spot. This year all I've beaten was DQ8 which took me 2.5 months, and then Dragon's Crown which took me 2 weeks or so.
Same here only I got so burnt out of Persona. 90 hours into the game I quit just before the Shido fallout only to start BOTW which is gonna take like fucking forever too. Then I have XC2 coming out later this year.
