For the most authentic, you need to find the rare official SEGA USB Saturn controller, a Saturn-to-USB connector and old Saturn controller, or a third-party USB Saturn controller

It's portable in the same sense a laptop is. Aka need a bag/carrying case, something the average human being does not carry around with them.

Much like the Vita it's much too delicate to actually take advantage of the portability either way.

The Switch's portability is great for vacations. You have something to do on the flight there, and you can play some vidya back in the hotel at night.
