I actually really enjoyed this game
L.A. Noire

DUDE
I did too. I wish there were more period piece video games.
YOU'RE FULL OF SHITM OP.
THE TRUTH IS YOU HATED THAT BITCH OF A GAME.
YOU TOOK IT AND DRAGGED IT OUT OF THE CONSOLE AND TOOK IT OUT TO GARAGE. IT SPARKLED AND YOU SMASHED IT IN WITH A SOCKET WRENCH.
AND THEN YOU STOMPED IT, YOU STOMPED IT BECAUSE IT WAS A PIECE OF JUNK AND IT PLAYED LIKE SHIT.
YOU STOMPED IT FOR ALL THE GAME OVERS YOU HAD TO TAKE.
YOU STOMPED IT BECAUSE YOU'RE SUCH A WEAK FUCKING FAGGOT OP, AND YOU WANTED TO ERASE ALL MEMORY OF IT.
GO ON, TRY TO DENY IT.
It's an impressive game but one of the worst endings in video game history
I enjoyed for like, the first ten hours. Then I got bored, even though I actually did find the plot interesting and wanted to see how it played out in the end. The gameplay was just so tedious though.
Okay, I thought it was a little ropey in parts, but hate it? You don't have anything on me to prove I didn't have a good time playing this game.
this, you can really see how rushed they were at the end
I deny it
It ended like a depressing noir film, so I didn't really have a problem with it.
I don't own a console and I have over 38 hours on it in my Steam account... I can prove it.
SOMETIMES YOU GOTTA SHAKE THE TREE TO SEE WHAT FALLS OUT.
>yfw
DLCs are shit though.
Some of the liars were actually somewhat decent. Others not so much.
>yfw your partner fucks a kraut dope addict whore
If you don't ask, you never find out.
Why were there so many Mad Men actors in this?
YOU FUCK YOUNG BOYS OP?
Fairly cheap and recognizable at the time?
WEAK FUCKING SISTER
YOU GOY MOTHERFUCKER
The story was good, so was the writing, I loved the 40s aesthetic BUT
>not enough shit to do outside investigations
>gets kind of repetitive
>shitty ending
>no playable ww2 flashbacks for some additional background story
...
>yfw that fucking negro puts his hand on you.
This guy backpedals so smoothly it's amazing.
You got to shake the tree to see what falls out.
Seems I made a mistake
I enjoyed that half where I wasn't cover shooting millions of people to death.
Concessions had to be made to the GTA audience
The driving gave me anxiety so I couldn't finish it
You can make your partners drive for you.
It made me feel autistic because I was unbelievably bad at reading all these fucks during questioning.
It's pretty obvious that they recorded pretty straightforward and overexaggerated expressions and then someone realized that the game would be too easy so instead of re-recording they just switched them up and in the end you have no clue what the fuck is going on.
Roy was fucking based
>a women has to do what shes been told
I really enjoyed the bloopers.
I don't fucking understand why didn't they at least put the sneezing ones into the game.
They are so fucking realistic and genuine because the actor did actually sneeze.
Why not have him randomly sneeze every couple hours for added realism? Fucking shit.
I wish every game had these.
You just made this thread because you watched Chewie and Fuckface LPing it, didn't you?
i really like it also. i even got 1000 gamerscore for it. didn't buy any of the dlc though because i had no monies at the time.
You drive, I need to look over the case notes
Wow that's fucking weird how their mistakes actually show up in the animation. It's like they're living in the game
They were being mocapped literally in real time.
Problem is the mocap they used for body was A LOT less accurate than the face tech.
First they mocapped all the walking, picking up objects, cutscenes etc.
Then they had the actors sit in a white room with 32 HD cameras pointed at their faces from all angles alongside laser scans, and had them perform the facial animations, dialogue etc in real time while playing a cutscene in the game to sync it. Really expensive and complex tech that will NEVER EVER be used in videogames again for years because it was so expensive it killed the studio.
When Cole went to the counter just to sneeze and leave made me go LMAO (Laughing My Ass Off, for all you grandpas out there LOL(Laughing Out Loud, for all you old ladies browsing this forum))
>No Godfather gameplay
First game was really cool and fun, but was a 1:1 movie to game. Two was interesting with the crew mechanics, but game became too easy since cracking bases became a joke compared to the difficulty of extorting hubs in the first game.
I barely remember anything about it, but I remember liking it.
WEED
Reminds me of that mission intro in GTA V where the guy playing Trevor actually tripped over the fence and what happened afterward was ad-libbed because Franklin laughed
