I really hated that they took out the ability to kill civilians after asscreed 1

>Why does Assasins Creed always try to shove moral crap down our throats while the main protagonist stabs people in the back without question?

because the assassins are the ones with a moral code ironically? chaotic good versus lawful neutral

AC was always political, don't be so triggered

>Also, Egyptians weren't niggers.

He looks like an arab mixed with a north african.

>Also, Egyptians weren't niggers.
25th dynasty, roughly 700 BCE Egypt was ruled by people from modern day Sudan.

Templars are amoral nietzschean edgelords and Assassians are moral edgelords

Basically ill say what the the protagonist in Unity said "Why can we all just be friends? We want the same goals"

Source?

pretty sure they allowed you to kill civvies up until Unity

there is just literally no benefit to be had by it and the games just put an equivalent of a wagging finger on screen for a moment

The thing is both sides are closer than people think but they are both autistic over certain things its where it falls apart. Both hate kings and clergy but the Templars only like those things when they control them assassins are just like FUCK AUTHORITY AND FUCK SUPER AUTHORITY.

Assassins are also big hypocrites they say they dont want to support empires or out right choose sides but the assassins supported the colonials in the American Revolution AND they supported the French royalty in the French revolution and this was all becasue "the Templars were on the other side and fuck them"

>assassin
>says "uh" when he falls 1 meter.

>liberation and Freedom Cry
>no one freaked over the black assassin MCs

Unity and Shittycate still let you shoot them.

Because Liberation Is a spin-off and Freedom Cry is a DLC. Also, both work fine in their respective settings.

>spin-off
Meant "originally a handheld title". The one with the POO assassin mc is the spin-off.

>that pic
They just keep making eagle vision more and more overpowered. How the fuck can it see through solid objects? Why can we permanently mark enemies now? The series is casual enough.

Eagle Vision is useless as fuck

Aveline is basically female Ezio, and Adewale is way cooler than he was in IV.
>blunderbuss
>brutal as fuck with a machete
>one of the best outfits in the series

I thought Arno was the Ezio clone

No, they were sandniggers, so their legacy is completely irrelevant anyway.

Arno, Aveline, and Edward are all Ezio clones, to varying extents.

Ezio is still the worst. His romance bullshit in Revelations nearly ruined it for me.

Edward too? I thought he was his own character

Edward made the "im an assassin but I dont give a fuck" archetype which carried to Jacob Frye

Any fucking book about Egypt's history in this period?

Because no one yet cared that much about muh SJWs ruining vidya back when they were released and they were much smaller titles

>im an assassin
The way he immediately picks up on assassin skills and pulls them off flawlessly will never not piss me off. It's such utter bullshit.

>muh SJWs
Fuck off, leddit.
>Mixed black in Louisiana
>Black in Haiti
Both make sense.

>Muh pirates
>Muh gang

They were criminals with assassin toys

oy you cheeki cunt ill fok you rite upside your head

I never claimed they don't, just told why there wasn't an outrage about them just because they're black

Ezio is the only good assassin. Kill yourself.

more like overrated

Yep. I'm still surprised Black Flag didn't have the assassin backup shit Brotherhood introduced. Seems like it would've worked well.

Then again, it'd be pretty useless, considering 60% of the game is tailing and eavesdropping and the rest is ship stuff and terrible modern segments.

He was a decent character in II and Brotherhood. DECENT.

The assassins were butthurt at Edward for selling the maps to the Templars

I didn't mean to imply that he'd use actual assassins. Just some of his crew.

How is it different than reading some guide in 2?

>Why does Assasins Creed always try to shove moral crap down our throats
Is this a joke or something? The series have been about a war of 2 factions with opposite moralities for 10 god damn years. If you don't like the setting nor the story, then why play it at all? Why make a thread?

t. dudebro

Muh gods blood and shiet

Well Assassin's Creed "Ancient Egypt" Edition is set in the Ptolemaic period anyway.

A little interesting detail mentioned in Black Flag that never got expanded upon for "reasons" was when Mary mentioned that when the European Brotherhood got to the West Indies the Mayans had the exact same brotherhood of Assassin in their society.

>Liberation is supposed to be the first game with the mc not being an ancestor of Desmond
>still has that retarded lip scar in her some artwork
The lip scar never made sense in the first place, anyway.

i'm nowhere near dudebro status. ezio is literally the only character in the entire series i give a fuck about.

Altair started to question what he was doing half into the game.
Altair is the only good protagonist too bad his game was too repetitive and they didn't punish the player or encouraged you to do all the information gathering missions.
The PSP game fixed some of it and the game itself is really good, but the lack of a second joystick seriously sucks.

Then you must be a sucker for dudebros with tragic pasts.

They're waiting until Desmond is resurrected to go back to numbering the games, right?

Desmond has always been unnecessary. The modern story could've easily been confined to one game set in a major city.

REMOVE ASSASSIN

FREE THIS EARTH FROM THE HOOD NIGGERS

no. i just like ezio. why are you calling a video game character a dudebro? the fuck

>*nasal voice* I make me own lock
What did he mean by this

DEATH TO THE HOOD NIGGERS

The series never had a truly good protagonist. The closest we got was Haytham, but you don't play with him for long.
Altair was decent with some not bad for how loose AC1 plot was character development thrown it
Ezio was a fun and likeable, but terribly overrated due to nostalgia and being in thrice as many games as others
Edward was probably the best written protag who had a stand alone game. Shame that the actual assassin part detracts his story more than makes it better, but that can be said about his game in general.
Everyone else is bland trash. Shay was apparently also decent, but I haven't played Rogue, so I don't really know.

...

Arno was pretty good too though only Trash one was Evie

For me the modern story and all the whole conspiracy going thorough the ages thing was what made the series interesting in the first place. I loved the modern segments, especially the actual missions in 3. But it's clear that after Desmond's death they have no fucking idea what to do with it any more and it would be better if they'd scrapped it altogether.

What made Jacob good?

>egypt game
>set it at the very tail end of egyptian history
>great pyramid shown in excellent condition despite most of the casing stones would have been long since robbed

oh well. i guess whatever holdouts at ubi that enjoyed history left after unity.

>pirate game
>at the end of the golden age of piracy

>after unity
They started to stop giving a fuck as early as AC3

Atleast brotherhood

the real shame about altair is much of his development was relegated to shitty psp game and the rest of it told through the codex pages that most people didn't even read. the guy literally set up the order for centuries to come and invented all of ezios toys from the apple.
