i read up some stuff and apparently the camera has acceleration (similar to mouse acceleration in FPS games) or some kind of smoothing, so it must be a software issue with Splatoon
we can only hope they'll either straight up patch it out or add an option to turn off acceleration/smoothing

I notice less input delay when I set stick sensitivity lower than motion. Lower stick sensitivity feels better anyway because there's less deceleration.
