They maintain popularity; but they're also heavily cyclical. Fans lose interest and move on to a new brand and series fast by the design of the business model of Sentai, and most Majou aren't Sailor Moon.

Beyond that it might just be that there's no great sales model that can be made. I mean somehow only Spiderman and Batman have games about them being anything resembling an inuniverse rendition of how they perform their superhero activities.

Sailor Moon Another Story is a nice rpg and the fighting games are also good, early precure games (before heartcatch) are fun if a bit simple, there are some card captor sakura games, a tokyo mew mew rpg on playstation and probably more
