Bioshock infinite is fucking terrible.

Probably never coming out, I bet Levine made a last second decision that the franchise belongs to him and only him.

Why was the second game so much better than the other 2?

In the sense that it was about there not being any choices in video games.

Good thing too, if it wasn't for his careful direction the series wouldn't have been able to explore complex themes such as "racism is bad"

Better combat,better characters,more choices in basically everything,better areas/locations,way more lore and a ton of other shit

So I just finished one and two for the forest time. Gameplay-wise, two is considered much better, right? It's basically booby traps: the game.

i dont know why bioshock 1 was lauded when it first came out

it was pretty much a watered down (no pun intended) remake of system shock 2, down to the plot

2 was a much better fps

Not him but 1 was p good though 2 is defintely the best in the trilogy

Well if your iq is low, yes. Infinite is not for everyone.

What great timing, just finished beating Bioshock 2 again immediately after Bioshock 1. They're very similar in power flow in that by end game you'll have a dozen options and fully loaded guns to play with. BS2 just has snappier combat(Guns + Plasmids out at the same time alone!) and more options for trap fuckery, but it's easy in either game to end up surrounded by flying robots and carrying a death cannon/wrench.

The story is stupid and the gameplay is ass.

What difficulty were you playing on?I played through 2 on hard recently and it was a breeze,im playing through 1 right now though and its much harder than 2

Hello I am the worst character in the franchise

Survivor in 1, then Hard in 2. So the max of each. Survivor in 1 is fucking brutal because you can rapidly be 1 or 2 shot. Hard in 2 isn't so bad because of the sheer speed with which you can access Armored Shell and Armored Shell 2. 1 still levels out really fast once you get Invisibility and some wrench set up.

Though really, 1 would've gone a lot more smoothly if I experimented with Plasmids earlier. Freeze for Daddies, Bees for everything else. Ez modo.
